TO has never had an 100 yard game against yall, but every game he has played in, his team has won, regardless of how many yards he gets. This shows that too much attention is being payed to Owens and not the scoreboard. Peep the stats

It doesnt matter how many yards he has, as long as the team wins, thats all that matters. These stats show that you have had success stopping Owens from torching you, but you have failed to stop the rest of the team, which results in an L.

Agreed. No bulletin board stuff there. I believe, at least when TO was an Eagle, that we did have Springs available (until that Parry **** cheap shotted him), but regardless Springs (and/or Cramp Bailey when Owens was a 49er) are big reasons TO has never lit it up against us. Without Springs, yes, TO and Glenn are setup for big games, as is Whitten. This boils down to a game where our offense and teams will have to win it for us. Meaning, John Hall must recover from himself and the offense must cash in on the red zone. Dallas' D is good but a bit over-hyped. The Jags do not have the talent we do on offense (aside from Leftwich over Brunell), and Brunell is good enough to hopefully move the ball like last week. Saunders makes some adjustments, and we score the ball like we should, then TO/Glenn/Whitten/Jones/Barber can do whatever they can to put up 30 pts, but we should be able to put up 31 with our offense and a kick from Hall. I think BOTH defenses are in for a bad game here fellas...

Whatever dont get mad because you cant beat TO's team and anyway the stats only go back to the year 2000 on NFL.com, and not before that, but since you wanna be sooooooooo pressed about i will check anyway.

Here is the 1996 game vs. SF(49ers won)

The only game Washington has won was in 1999, when TO had 1 catch for 2 yards. The skins won 26-20

SO there are your statistics, there is no way im skewing stats, It is clear that regardless of stopping TO, the skins dont win.

TO HAS PLAYED AGAINST THE SKINS 6 TIMES, HE HAS BEEN HELD UNDER 100 YARDS EACH GAME. But the Skins have only won 1 game. And in those 6 games, he has 211 yards on 18 receptions, which is a 11.72 avg ypc. And he has 2 receiveing TD's. Not to mention 38 yards rushing for 1 TD.

So overall record of games vs. TO 1-5. It just shows that they are more focused on stopping Owens then winning the game.
