bulldog Posted October 6, 2002 Share Posted October 6, 2002 the Redskins are wasting some valuable chances here in the first half. the Titans have turned the ball over and started in poor field position. we have to do more than kick field goals and go three and out. as the Dyson drop in the end zone showed, the Titans CAN make plays on this secondary despite the fact Derrick Mason is out. Terrell is just a shocking mediocrity at free safety. If this position doesn't get upgraded the front office should be taken out and shot. Last year he couldnt tackle, now hes a solid tackler and makes the occasional big hit. bulldog Posted October 6, 2002 Share Posted October 6, 2002 I told you guys a couple of weeks ago we were playing with fire by leaving Betts inactive and going with only two running backs. Now Davis is hurt and we are down to starting a UDFA in Watson, who isn't scaring the Tenn defense very much. IMHO we it would have made more sense to make one of the other receivers inactive since we don't use many three wide formations because of the problems protecting the qb. Of course this is predicated on the fact someone believes Ladell Betts can actually play and contribute. Does anyone know that? Terrell is a former cornerback, you would think with his speed and experience in coverage on the outside, that he would be making some plays out there on the ball with his anticipation.
