Brave
Houston is giving Philly fits early. A 7-0 lead and they just picked off McNabb and are in Phlly territory. Could you imagine ... Pittsburgh doesn't look like they've had a bye week, but it's early. Detroit jumps out on New Orleans early, 10-0. N.O. making a habit of that? Make that 13-0. Whiskeypeet
The score jumping out to me right now is the Dallas/Saint Louis score. Dallas is playing them tough right now. They are up 7-0 right now and Warner may be out for the game. Could we have an 0-4 Rams team? Also I am shocked by the Lions vs NO score. I thought this had shutout potential....guess I was dead *** wrong.
Brave
Dallas scores first. Lead Rams 7-0. Warner already had a pick. Amazing the difference in play from those St. Louis guys. They got NOTHIN'! C'mon ... get it going!
Brave
Hey Whiskey ... what happpened to Warner?
Uptown Skins
How classic is it that Desmond Howard hurt his neck celebrating a return???!!!  I've heard two Gus Frerotte references already. :gus: :gus:
Uptown Skins
Kurt Warner has a broken pinky finger. It's the same one that he broke back in 2000 when he missed six games. UHH-OHH!!
Whiskeypeet
I think it was a hand injury of some sort. I didnt see the actual play he was injured on. Just caught the update on FOX.
Whiskeypeet
Another game that is suprising up to this point is the Browns/Steelers game. Clevlands passing offense has not been as good as I would have expected it to be given the Steelers week pass D in its first two games. Oddly enough Pitt has been giving up yards on the ground to Clevlands backs. It really appears to me the Pitts D has been and is going ot continue to be exposed this year. Brave
Carolina leading Green Bay (7-3) is a mild surprise. This could be the game that makes the Panthers legit if they win today. This will be tough for them at Lambeau, though.
Brave
Thattaboy Priest Homes! 25 yd. TD run. Need those fantasy points!
Whiskeypeet
Ya I agree with that Brave. What is the deal with Green Bay? I know they are nicked up on defense but they are not nearly as dominant as I originally expected them to be. I figured Joe Johnson would make a larger impact than he has. This Detroit/N.O. game is killing me. I have the Saints D in my fantasy league. Joey Harrington and company are basically haveing their way with them. Unbelievable. Whiskeypeet
Okay I know I am harping on this but the Detroit team is shocking me right now. Harrington looks very legit for a rookie.
Brave
Not bad at all. J. Harrington 12/18 166 yds 1 TD 0 INT
Brave
TD for the Rams! 7-7 tie with Dallas.
Whiskeypeet
Jamie Martin is haveing a good game against the Dallas defense. I assumed Dallas's D would feast on this guy. He has stood up to the pressure for sure. Quincy has actually had a decent game today as well. This game is probably going down to the wire. Whiskeypeet
Carolina has earned a new kind of respect with this game today. Win or loose at this point they have totally played with the Pack. John Fox is obviously a hell of a coach. Dont we play these guys this year? codeorama
It looks like Detroit is going to win. Harrington looked really good. I liked him in college and it looks like he's going to be a good one.
Brave
We don't play Carolina. Played 'em in the preseason but don't get themin the reg. season. The Rams are driving for a (potential) winning FG. Sweet! Uh oh. Decision time. 1:32 left. Rams 4th and 9 at the dallas 31. That's a 48 yarder. If they miss it Dallas has good field position to try to win it at the end themselves.

Brave
What is up with the Chiefs? Miami obviously set out to stop Priest Holmes and they were largely successful from a yardage standpoint, but man did Trent Green ever have a big day! 5 TDs, over 300 yards, no picks KC seems to score 40 or more every week. Miami has a pretty good D, too. A team to watch, perhaps.
TexasEagle
And the Rams are finished. No Playoffs for them. There's no turning around that fiasco. And Detroit with a win over NO.... Detroit. Are the Saints frauds now? Wow, this is turning into an exciting season all around.
Uptown Skins
Jay Feidler...AHHHHHHHHH DAMMIT!! 4 INTS????? Damn. I would've been better off leaving my bye week QB in. DAMMMMMMMMMMMN!!!
70Chip
I can't believe Carolina missed the close-in tying field goal against the Packers. That looks like something that would happen to the Skins.

Brave
Looks like the Giants are going to drop one. Interestingly, it seems as though Thomas Jones is back on the bench (could be an injury, not watching) but Marcel Shipp has come in and run all over the Giants.
