FT.com: US group implants electronic tags in workers

An Ohio company has embedded silicon chips in two of its employees - the first known case in which US workers have been “tagged” electronically as a way of identifying them.

These are NOT the transmitting kind but if the US does this just imagine what workers in China have to look forward to. Seriously technology is going to make human life in the future a damn nightmare. Maybe not everywhere, but in places where people don't defend their privacy you'll lose all rights privacy and thus decision making.
