footballhenry
http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/11013519/?GT1=7538 Pretty interesting stuff, course my personal belief is that there are numerous planets like this, along with numerous galaxies. Aw, the vastness of space....man I feel so small and insignificant now.
skinsfanevan
so the only reason it is earth-like is because it rotates around a star that it is somewhat far from?
Oldskool
The reason why it is the most "Earth-like" is because: 1. It is a non gas giant planet. 2. Its not a ice ball/Kupier type plantetoid. 3. It doesnt reside within a tight orbit around the host star, like Mercury. Other than that, its apples and oranges really. 5.5 times larger than earth, most likely missing any type of atmosphere and combined that with the fact that it orbits a red dwarf star, its surface temperature of 364 degrees below zero Fahrenheit is almost absolute zero. So, you are saying it might be a little on the cold side.
