SkinsNeverDie
I believe that if we want more depth at the CB position...this is definately the guy to do it. He played a year of WR at BC. Here is some info on the guy. http://www.nfldraftcountdown.com/scoutingreports/cb/willblackmon.html The only downside is that he played a year of recieving??!? We all saw how good Chris Gamble turned out to be. He is a good cover corner, he can tackle, he's a pretty good athlete too. This guy is gonna be a steal. IMO he could even be a great #2 with the right coaching...and you all know what team has the right coaches (us of course!). He is a Gibbs player all the way. Great team player! Also could be a major contributer to special teams.
SkinsNorth
I agree Blackmon would be a fine 2nd or 3rd choice, going into this yr he was arguably the top CB prospect in the draft. The kid is a playmaker.
SkinsNeverDie
Getting him in the 3rd round would be a perfect scenario...if we just get a DE, in one of the rounds before him.

We are killing like...3 birds with one stone with this guy! lol. He can play reciever, corner, and is a great contributer in STs.
SkinsNorth
IMO, he is the best CB prospect on the draft. Another option would be Kansas CB/WR/KR Charles Gordon, same type of player, he just dosent have the measuables that Blackmon has. I think Gordon can be an RW McQuarters type. warren
There is a little footage of Blackmon playing corner on redskins.com...in the senior bowl update.
NavyDave
His playing WR for a year can only help him on defense so if we do land him there is a chance he wont have stone hands in a situation we saw in one of our playoff games
21dave
I'm pretty sure Blackmon will be off the board in the first round. He's got a lot of talent.

Cskin
That Travis Wilson kid seems to be a nice player. Catches the ball well with his hands... and his routes seem crisp and precise with a good level of speed.
creamsodas
blackmon wont go in the first, and there's a very slim chance of him being there for our 3rd round pick.

SkinsNeverDie
He seemed rusty but that is only common. I think we will have a chance at getting him...the question is when or will we?
