Season Grades

Well it's been a great season. I didn't want it to end. But alas, they say nothing lasts for ever. So with a little hint from the Comcast Sportsnet crew, I figured we could grade the players for the season overall.

Mark Brunell: B-

Clinton Portis: A (A Minus only for lack of balance, A+ for every thing else including pass blocking and toughness, would have been higher if he could get the short yard)

Santanna Moss: A+

Offensive Line: C- (Pass protection needs work, and need to be more consistant opening up holes for Portis)

Chris Cooley: A

Mike Sellars: A

David Patten: F

Taylor Jacobs: F

James Thrash: D+/C- (good on special teams, though)

Ladell Betts: B+

Rock Cartwright: C (That fumble in the Cheifs game really hurt his grade)

Patrick Ramsey: C+ (Looked aweful early in the season, Great in relief of Brunell)

Marcus Washington: A+

Shawn Springs: A

Carlos Rogers: B- (Would have gotten an A if he could have halled that interception in today)

Sean Taylor: B+ (would be higher if not for his character flaws; spitting etc)

Cornelius Griffin: A

Phillip Daniels: B+ (He really came up huge when we needed him with his sacks)

Renaldo Wynn: C+

Joe Salyvea: C+/B-

Lemar Marshell: B- (That INT in the Eagles game was HUGE!)

Ryan Clark: B (He played his heart out and won the game against philly at Fed Ex)

Lavar Arrington: B (Stepped up toward the end of the season as a playmaker)

Walt Harris: C- (Played well in Dallas and at other times, but also played aweful at others. Especially when he couldn't tackle.)

Anonio Brown: C- (His fumbles hurt his grade, but his return in Arizona helped.)

Special Teams: B (Would be higher if we could get some punt returns, and better punts)

What do you guys think?
