PCRoughrider
Why not? He's not getting any pub for "Coach of the Year", how 'bout EoY? Just trading for Santana Moss should get him some consideration. And he's the team president, so he qualifies.

JtheRock1
Bill Polian or whoever would be considered the "executive" for the Colts deserved it. It's not like the Redskins went 13-3 and earned the 1st or 2nd seed in the playoffs. You guys went 10-6 and got the 6th seed in the playoffs only because Dallas basically melted down towards the end of the season.

Gibbs won't and shouldn't be in the top 5 for COY or EOY. There are just to many guys who did better job.

Other than the Colts, Bengals, and Bears coaches, who else even comes close in terms of team improvement season to season and making the playoffs with such a great end of year run Get off our site.... troll

Coach of the year probably goes to Lovie though, but top five would be Lovie, Tom Coughlin, Marvin Lewis, Joe Gibbs and Dungy/Shanahan, although the last two were expected to do well. Yeah, and the Skins five-game winning streak, including two wins against teams ahead of them in the playoff hunt and three victories on the road, played no part whatsoever in the Skins making it into the post season...it was nothing but the Skins backing in by luck. Ok...
