Joe Gibbs - Executive of the Year?

Bill Polian or whoever would be considered the "executive" for the Colts deserved it. It's not like the Redskins went 13-3 and earned the 1st or 2nd seed in the playoffs. You guys went 10-6 and got the 6th seed in the playoffs only because Dallas basically melted down towards the end of the season.

id like to see it....i dont think it will happen though, the NE guy will win it becuase the leave loves NE...better yet whoever the GM of the giants is will win it for plaxico. the league seems to love the giants giving them 9 home games and all... ;)

umm, dude, the 'skins were a HUGE part of that meltdown.

they went to carolina the following week and won. they laid an egg against st. louis in large part because they were already eliminated. your statement is asanine.

bill polian? he's great, but what offseason moves did they make?

 Gibbs barely made the playoffs as the 6th seed in the far inferior NFC while Polian put together the best team in football and helped to fix a defense that for the past few years had been holding the team back and made them into a unit that actually helped to win a couple games this year and were much improved. Gibbs won't and shouldn't be in the top 5 for COY or EOY. There are just to many guys who did better job.

Not top 5 COY ??

Your ridiculous. Other than the Colts, Bengals, and Bears coaches, who else even comes close in terms of team improvement season to season and making the playoffs with such a great end of year run

Get off our site.... troll :silly:

Ummm Coughlin.

Coach of the year probably goes to Lovie though, but top five would be Lovie, Tom Coughlin, Marvin Lewis, Joe Gibbs and Dungy/Shanahan, although the last two were expected to do well.

Yeah, and the Skins five-game winning streak, including two wins against teams ahead of them in the playoff hunt and three victories on the road, played no part whatsoever in the Skins making it into the post season...it was nothing but the Skins backing in by luck. Ok...
