In the following aticle about the Dallas Cowboys and their uniform request to the league, the following paragraph can be found: As unusual as it might seem to see the Cowboys wearing blue at home, the same might be said when they wear the white jerseys at Washington this year since the Redskins have decided to change their uniform scheme, sporting red jerseys at home. I think Gibbs switched to wearing white at home for a couple different reasons: 1. The players look more daunting in white and 2. It's a little easier for a QB to spot a receiver wearing white. bulldog Posted July 31, 2001 Share Posted July 31, 2001 it's time a change was made. each coach has changed some facet of the uniform or helmet except Turner. we need to distance ourselves from ANYTHING he did, just as a matter of good mojo. the burgundy jerseys look good and the team should be proud to wear them at home. let the Cowboys wear their road white when they come to town.
