Their only win came off the Saints, us in the other hand in our first 5 games we were 3 and 2 with those 2 bullcrap losses that should of been wins to the Broncos and Chiefs. The Rams were dead and buried and the Texans showed why they are the Texans. This is my frustration.... This year SHOULD be OURS for the taking. (WC spot atleast). IF we had won just one of the last 3 then we'd sadly enough be sitting in good position only ONE GAME out of the playoff spot w/Dallas and NYG at home still on the schedule. This SHOULD have been the year w/the Rams, Vikes and Eagles all surprisingly struggling for us to move up and be in WC position. redskins55 Posted November 28, 2005 Share Posted November 28, 2005 5-6 with 5 to play. The Giants and Cowboys lost this week and will play each other next week meaning someone will be 7-5. We have to take advantage of these oppurtunities to gain ground hopefully we'll be 6-6. We are 2 games back and face all 3 East teams in the upcoming weeks. Our destiny still lies within our own hands. The football GODS are allowing us to stay in the race we have to capitalize. 10-6 just may win the east via tie breakers. I'm always curious about how the "seed" teams when they have the same record and don't have a head-to-head to fall back on...shouldn't the next thing be conference record (our 5-2 vs. their 2-5)?
