DCNightHawk
that run just capped off the skins season.. it shows our failure to step up when the game is close and on the line.
MumboSauce
yeah Taylor got used/abused. oh well...really good players get dunked on every now and then. it happens..just at a bad time and for a game winning TD.

STLACP
That wasn't Taylor, if you watch Taylor is getting doubled teamed and LT stiff arms RYAN CLARK right to the ground.
Hooterman
Funny, I told my buddy after the O/T opening kickoff if I were Marty I would throw deep agains either Carlos or Sean because both were covering the kickoff. Sure enough, first pass goes right by Sean, then the run goes right over him.

redskinny44
sort of ended like the thanksgiving game - that is what I get for making fun of the Cowboys...we're done! And no #1 pick either. tigstah
it looked like s. taylor was being held when l.t. ran for the winning td.....
Fletch1
Taylor seems to be way out of position on that run. He seems to over commit on the run. When LT cuts outside, he has no angle at all. Clark got man handled on that run.

bbuzz1962
He has been burnt on runs all year. He over pursues, trying to impress people with his hitting ability to just get embarrassed. This has happened time and time again. He has to play his position and quit playing for ESPN highlights.
SonnyRules
That wasn't Taylor, if you watch Taylor is getting doubled teamed and LT stiff arms RYAN CLARK right to the ground. Bonez3
NO- Sean Taylor took on a lead block and Clark got steamrolled. Taylor's responsibilty is to absorb a block , but he really didn't do much more. A GREAT S might make a play. I've been overall disappointed in ST for a while now (going back to last year with the DUI, contract ****, AND YES HIS PLAY) He seems to consistently take bad angles, long balls are not uncommon, the boot in OT yesterday should not have gained that much, nor should LT's second score. Seems like a MJORITY of the games are bad ones for ST. Sorry if this offends certain fans, but our S is not what I envisioned at this point. Damn, it's almost eerily similar to a LaVar of the secondary- big plays but makes the Defense ultimately NOT AS GOOD.
Bonez3
Taylor is hardly double teamed and ROGERS COULD HAVE PUNCHED THAT BALL- I CANT BELIEVE HE DIDN'T GO FOR THE PUNCH. There's little doubt in my mind that HE COULD HAVE GOT IT ARGHHHHHHHHH!

Sean Taylor was NOT run over. Sean Taylor was in position to make a hit when 79 of San Diego reached around Taylor's upper body, locked onto him by reaching under his arm pits, and then when Taylor started to break free, 79 grabbed Taylor's jersey and practically lifted it over his shoulder pads. I know this because I just watched it on TIVO. If Taylor was a running back with the ball, it would have been a nice tackle. But, since Taylor is a safety trying to make a tackle, that is what is known as holding. I don't get how they can catch Rabach's hold in the middle of the line and away from the ball carrier, but miss that friggin mugging at the point of the run. AzSkinsFan63
They just re-showed it on Monday Night Countdown... damn skins were manhandled on that play bad..I thought there was a huge hold but upon further review Skins just wanted to go home... They let San Diego get away with murder in that game. Especially their Wideouts were blatantly holding all game long. An yes, Taylor was blatantly held on the winning TD run, along with Washington and Rogers. You know, it doesn't piss me off that they blew that call. What pisses me off is that they made sure to call us for every possible thing when SD was doing the same things and not being called. That is the very definition of bias, and it was sadly apparant in that game. LT makes a phenomenal run, and it would be a shame to see it wasted, but that is the rules. They sure as hell wouldn't think twice if Portis had busted one to win it, would they now? "Looks like he might have held you say? Holding, ten yards #61 Washington" Then it comes to LT and it's more like " Man, can I get you autograph after the game?" Sad but true. They were too busy watching LT do his thing to notice the three guys holding to help him out.
Leonard Washington
I thought there was a huge hold but upon further review Skins just wanted to go home... they were already at home! i noticed they did give up on both of LT's big runs. LT is fast, but i wonder about our conditioning.
MumboSauce
It's easy to miss if you saw the play one time. so it was Clark, many of us stand corrected. people make mistakes..ish happens. get over yourself.

jasimpson
just watched the highlights on skins.com and ST got held something awful, and it was so obvious, it was much worse than the rabach hold. How the refs blew it is beyond me. I am furious right now.
Bonez3
Guys- Taylor should have blown that blocker up!! He absorbed him like a wet rag- you dont get holding calls when you submit to the block. Taylor ran into him and conceded the play.
