Mr. S Posted November 22, 2005 Share Posted November 22, 2005 a lot of players actually helped out the cap situation this past offseason. Noble, Jansen, Brunell, Wynn, Ramsey come to mind right off. They either accepted a complete pay cut in salary, or used clauses to convert some of their salary into guaranteed bonus money spread out for the remainder of their contracts. I can see it happening again for this offseason. We need another good receiver, unless Jacobs finally does step up. We obviously need help at both DE positions it seems. We also do need a quality CB, probably some later round guy. Drafting a guard in the 2nd or 3rd round is entirely possible too in order to give Dockery a little competition. Overall though, our team is not too bad off, sure our record says differently, but the talent is there. I wont give up on this year until its over, and next year I can just see even better improvement, either with Brunell under center or Ramsey.
