TheCoach22
Not simply because he fumbled today on a return where he was hit and never left his feet, but because he takes forever to get from 0-60. He is a north-south brusier, with a nice third gear... not the ideal return man.
dfitzo53
I wondered why Thrash was in front of him and not the other way around, but other teams use the same style sometimes. Green Bay had Najeh Davenport return kicks.
thelarkascend1ng
because of people like Antonio Brown, and because we can't afford to have Moss back there doing it all the time. next year i hope we have a better return option, but i'm fairly happy with thrash back there. cscmtp
i think today is the last time we'll see him return kicks. Lord knows it should be. He's NEVER broken one, and i don't see him ever doing so either...put Jacobs or Thrash back there...
Boy2Der
I reall think we need to cut him the he has always played poor in pass protection and runs.
PA Skin Fan
He supposedly returns kicks because he's "dependable"... just like James Thrash. Slow but doesn't fumble. Well as you can see today that's not true. We let Chad Morton go for this crap?? Our returners go from below average to pathetic. Betts surely shouldn't be returning kickoffs after this. mookie0720
James Thrash is the worst punt returner in the NFL or at least close to it. With our return men we have absolutely zero chance of returning any kick/punt for a touchdown. The blocking has been getting better, but the return men have no explosiveness. RedskinsFan28
Man, I wish Brian Mitchell would make a comeback........I too wonder why Betts is back there. I'd let Jacobs give it a shot.
