Mania
he did go 100% completion tho! 1/1 for 8 yards to a 3rd string tight end! padding his numbers for the year
SittingBull
I woulda rather had Campbell in there and get some reps. With only one pass play in that span it woulda been nice.

Isn't there a rule, that if you send in the #3 QB, neither of the other two can return to the game, even if the #3 gets injured? Ramsey went in too early for GIbbs to take a risk like that, even up by 30+.
Walking Deadman
I was glad to see Patrick, Ladell and Rock in there. My Dad called Ramsey's one pass when all around him said Ramsey would just hand it off.
Carlito Sway
I was glad to see him come in; rest Mark, keep his out of some embarassed Niner's wrath, etc. Also served to be a statement for the entire team - game over, kids. This is the way we should be - way ahead and playing team ball. From another angle, it was just plain great to get so much discord out of the team's system. LaVar back on the field (with a vengeance!), so that's on its way to being smoothed over, and Pat gets to feel like a teammate again. He looked pretty damn rusty on that slant pass - think he triple-pumped - but with those two personnel moves, I think a lot of ill will was washed away. HTTR! xsinner
I was hoping Ramsey didn't fumble the game away. Like fumbling on the handoff or after the snap.

sherea
What a great guy Patrick is and a real team player. He is doing a wonderful job as backup and we are lucky to have such talent behind Mark Brunell.

dockeryfan
From where I was sitting, it seemed as if people were booing. Do not boo Redskin players, it's really bad! I didn't hear a single boo from where I sat. Just cheers.
monkfan81
Ramsey did his job, he ran the plays that were called. Gibbs and staff had the game obviously locked and not trying to rub it in anymore they took the laid back approach and ran the ball. I think yesterday was a full ON TEAM EFFORT FOR A CHANGE, INCLUDING RAMSEY!! GO SKINS!:applause:
jrfriedm
I actually was thinking we need to pull the starters at the start of the second half. The game was well in hand at that point, and if for some reason San Fran would started to make a come back we could've had Brunell throw another touch down pass to Moss and Ice the game some more. Bleeding Burgundy
when Ramsey came in, my mind went "aw man now we're gonna lose"
betsy thurman
I was glad to see Ramsey come in -- first to protect Brunell but also to keep Patrick somewhat in touch -- I'm sure he would have liked to throw a few more but I suspect he was told to handoff and keep it simple!! Don't be so hard on the dude -- he still wears a Redskins uniform!!
joelvincent
he did go 100% completion tho! 1/1 for 8 yards to a 3rd string tight end! They couldn't let him throw twice or we would've ruined our turnover ratio...
ouvan59
Honestly?I hoped he wouldn't turn the ball over or make some glaring mistake, so I wouldn't have to spend the next few days putting out fires on ES. LOL, it's just different fires to put out. I seriously doubt you'll have fewer.
VASkinsGurl
I was not nervous at all, the game was waaayyyyy beyond over at that point, and this was Ramseys time to shine, if he went in and sucked at all then it would be over for real.....I would have liked to seen Campbell in there :eaglesuck :gaintsuck :dallasuck
The Guru
Jeez, some of you guys need to get a grip. Maybe Ramsey isn't great but hes not terrible. He can't even hand the ball off without getting criticized.
Lil Kenzo
I was relieved when Ramsey came in. It showed that the game was really over and for the first time in a long time, I didn't have to yell at my T.V. until the final gun sounded. georgiaredskin
I concur, Dr. Om and Dr. S. I told my friend, here's Bugel and Gibbs' conversation: Bugel says, "45-7. Can I put Ramsey in yet?" Gibbs replies, "Nah, wait just a little bit more." :logo:
Rypien 91
Yeah, it was nice to see him get a nice ovation from the crowd. Ramsey is a good guy, but we all know he is gone next year. I hope he plays well, until he meets up with us.
