Ancalagon the Black Posted October 7, 2005 Share Posted October 7, 2005 There's a lot of attention on this site given to what sportswriters for the major media outlets have to say about the Skins. Sometimes, I wonder if it's worth all the effort we put into it. On the other hand, a friend of mine--who also happens to be an Extremeskins member, if he wishes to identify himself--makes an argument in his blog article that it's the duty of a fan to keep track of major media figures and hold them to account, so that gradually we might expect improvement over time. (In case you want to read some of his more amusing rants against particular sportswriters, check out what he has to say about Peter King, Don Banks, Bill Syken & Len Pasquarelli, and...umm...Don Banks.) So I was curious to hear what folks at this site think about our obsession with what the media have to say.
