Zen-like Todd
This doesnt really strike me as surprising in the least. As soon as I saw that there were several other teams still in the mix, I thought it was all over. Mendes and Co. have shown that they aren't going to go chasing mediocre players with outlandish contracts.
Zen-like Todd
For mock draft purposes, I'd like to point out this bit from that article, however.

quote:
Most draft experts say at least four defensive tackles will be drafted in the first round: Tennessee's John Henderson and Albert Haynesworth, North Carolina's Ryan Sims and Wisconsin's Wendell Bryant. Also, Notre Dame's Anthony Weaver is a possibility.

Pro Football Weekly's Joel Buchsbaum told Insiders.com last week that he rates Weaver with the other four, calling it a five-deep draft at tackle.

I totally agree with Buschbaum on this one, which is why I traded down to pick him up.
OrangeSkin
I agree, trading down would be an ideal scenario. But what if Harrington drops? We'd be $hitting ourselves.
