FARAPS
I don't understand why Gibbs wouldn't put Campbell in the game at all. I mean its not like we needed to win the game. I suppose he wanted to see more of Brunell because Campbell isn't really in the near future, but i guess i'm a little let down because i was looking forward to seeing JC play. Maybe it was a good decision, what do you all think....
Renegade7
Because Brunell gave them the better chance to win the ball game. I know it's preseason, but Gibbs wouldn't be half as pissed as he is if he didn't want to win that game.
tvan
I think Gibbs wanted MB to get more reps because of the short leash on PR. IF PR is pulled it will be MB - not JC to replace him.
CHUBAKAH
My guess is he wanted to watch his new starter a bit more, just to be sure.
bubba9497
because JC will be riding the pine this season.... and he wanted to see how some of these on the bubble guys handled coming from behind. Brunell gave him more flexability to do that. cut down day #1 is next week
wilbur58z
The Bengals dominated time of possession. Our back up defense couldn't stop the Bengals offense at all. They just didn't have enough series to get Campbell into the game. They barely got Brunell time...
kappaluvacee
Short answer: Because MB gave us a chance to win this game.
johnjack
Short answer: Because Gibbs is smart, and he doesn't want to stoke the fire that is already simmering to get Ramsey out of there. If Campbell comes in and does well, he's creating more media problems for himself.
