  1. I wanted him, badly. Now watch that mother****er go to Dallas or Philly next season........we're Commanders fans, it inevitable to get ****ed
  2. I'm cool with a defensive minded coach or a "leader of men" if that's the direction we're going, but for the love of God, get EB the hell out of here and hire a OC that can run a offense and develop our new QB
  3. Nice to see there's a few of us wahoos still around 😀 I agree and I'm certainly not overly down on Daniels. My biggest concern with him is not skill set but more so durability. I believe though the right coaches (Johnson) can develop any of these top 3 QBs and make them successful. If not, then we keep drafting one until we find our diamond.
  4. UVA fan here also, nice to see another fellow wahoo here. I agree, that game was more about how good UVAs offense was that day and not how Maye played. Folks also need to know that Mack Brown is good for 2 to 3 losses every year after fast starts. If you put Maye on this year's LSU team and surround him with their talent then he might be the one going #1 overall
  5. Don't forget about Heath Shuler. I remember buying into the hype thinking we got our QB of the future and ready for another decade of fun. It seemed like we never recovered after striking out with Heath. Just one thing after another that dug our grave deeper.
  6. This moment right here started one hell of a run for us "old school" fans...Let's hope the new regime brings you young bucks that have suffered through years of misery some of this enjoyment
  7. Morris was never on my list.... 1. Johnson 2. Slowik 3. Vrabel 4. Harbaugh I know a lot of people didn't like the idea of Harbaugh, but damn all he's ever done is win everywhere he's been. The Chargers got a good one, will be fun watching what they do in the coming years.
  8. Dan Quinn would feel so much like a "blah" hire, same with Morris. I know they might be respected guys around the league and all, but I feel like with those guys we would be right back to 8 wins a year with a 9 win ceiling. If we went with a defensive minded coach then give me Macdonald from Baltimore, at least with him he's coming from one of the best cultures in all of professional sports.
  9. You're exactly right, a possible "what if" scenario would be if someone traded up to #1 and grabbed Maye and if that happens then we get Williams. I wouldn't cry about getting either one of those guys. I have a sneaky feeling that if Maye is going to participate at the combine he's going to crush it. With that said, if someone trades up with Chicago 99.9% they're taking Williams Let me also add that I don't hate Daniels as a prospect, he could very well come in and be the next great QB, he certainly has the dynamic talents to be special, but his body type screams injury and short career.
  10. Long time lurker, first time posting... It's very simple and no need to over think it. Williams will go #1 so he's out, Maye is our guy at #2, hands down much higher ceiling than Daniel's. I don't care what some former scout on Twitter or X has to say about there being questions about Drake Maye. Amazing how easily people get persuaded by internet bull****. Draft Drake Maye Hire Ben Johnson Win a bunch of games
