You can play DeJean at multiple spots in the secondary and he returns kicks. Get that man.

If Daniels knew how to properly slide, I'd feel more comfortable. Problem is he doesn't. He wants to juke, outrun, or hurdle defenders and that ish isn't going to work in the NFL.

Drafting Jayden Daniels is going to be Peter's biggest mistake. RG3 all over again, except JD is a less talented version of RG3. He's going to get blown up because he doesn't protect himself, doesn't know how to slide, and doesn't go thru progressions. Maye and McCarthy are going to sit for a year, iron out their fixable deficiencies, and be the best QBs out of this class (I'm also not ruling out Penix). The Commanders wanted the QB that could start now, and it's going to cost them dearly.

My gut tells me whoever gets Penix and allows him to sit for a season is getting the bes QB in the lot. Just a hunch.

I'm not so sure anyone but Caleb is ready to start Day 1. I'm not convinced that Daniels reads the field well enough to be a Day 1 starter.

Daniels comp for me is a faster Tyrod Taylor but physically weaker. Taylor actually processes much better than Daniels, so Daniels needs to get much better in that aspect.

If by processing, you mean "Malik and Brian aren't open enough for my liking...ehhh let me run" then yea, Daniels is a fast processor.
