Having Rivera also give a statement is how you really prop up a team that's been worse than bad for decades. I hope this is the start of a franchise that's at least competent.

My guy, you can root for the team to lose for draft position and still hope they make it fun to watch. I'd much rather prefer seeing them barely lose these last two than get obliterated and make me really not look forward to next season.

We all talk about draft position, but best case scenario is we have Howell further develop and give the team hope for next season so they feel like they don't need to get a QB.

I've had the mindset all season that Howell should likely be given another season just to make sure. I think I'm now OK with QB or no QB in the first.

Please remind me if there was this much uproar about McLaurin's offsides last season as there appears to be for Toney's offsides. If not, this just because KC is the darling of the league?

No disagreements. I just think Harris and Co. will go in with the mindset that there are several holes to fill.

If both QBs are gone and they feel they can get another player they want a little later, I 100% bet they'll trade down and stockpile picks.
