At least those terrible seasons of the past were watchable thanks to the awesome unis we had.

If I'm investing three hours of my time I expect the actual object on my screen be pleasing.

The actual play quality of the team is another discussion completely.

Personally, if the old logo were to make a return about the only name that could work is Warriors but I stilll think Redwolves is the best second choice. Sentinels works for me if they would go all in with a Spartan style spear on the helmet a la 60's unis replacing the feather with a yellow ribbon. 

I have also seen a really nice Michigan Wolverine style helmet that would work with any name that I could get behind. It looks more like a W wrapped over the helmet with a spear / arrow head "ghosted" in on the front. 

If Kraken and Valkyrie are acceptable are we opposed to Werewolves? Not better than Redwolves in my opinion but if there is serious opposition to using the word Red in the name it certainly solves that problem while keeping the wolves theme in tact.

You said bro, I can't even begin to understand why would anyone mess with the color combination we already had.

It just looks so damn good. 

NO ONE wanted to change in colors or design (logo and names are another subject). It was a mistake and the current front office should take note.

It's a brutal league and we still have some huge needs at key positions (OL for starters). And we'll be starting a rookie QB.

Hope springs eternal I guess...

I expect basic competency and that's about it.

That will be enough for a 6-11 season.

I also expect:

- Jayden getting hurt at midseason. He'll want to tuck the ball and run due to the change of pace of the NFL.

- A struggling offensive line

- Defense will be solid

- We will win more games at home, at notable change from the previous seasons.

That's about it.

I'm starting to guess the new regime blames last year's pathetic O-Line showing on RR and Howell. 

No other way around it. We're rolling with most of last year's unit except we added Biadasz and Allegretti, right?  

Daniels better start packing some protein milkshakes.

Someone feed this man some protein ASAP.

Season is officially over.

We gonna draft Daniels. I can feel it.

It's gonna cost us big time and will be considered the first mistake of the new regime.

Let's just be realistic for a second.

Most rookie QBs struggle with their transition to the NFL and cover their inefficiencies by running or improvising a play.

JD will also tend to do this.

Problem for him is his wirey frame. Even if he has some great passing ability the chances of being hurt are VERY high if and when he runs. And he WILL run a whole lot just to "make things happen" and try to become the next Mahomes.

It's time we settle down and draft a "pure" passer like McCarthy plus some AAA starters in the O-Line. Don't try to re-invent the wheel!

Really? Only if you look at the numbers on a spreadsheet regarding weight and height.

Randall was incredibly tough and had freakishly long legs.

Once he got going he was very hard to bring down even by historically good defenses in the NFC East.

It's the first time I ever hear JD being compared to him.

In his prime Vick was basically unstoppable. And he did have some huge legs on him.

Nobody knows. It's actually slightly possible. I'd give it a 10% chance that he's even 50% as clutch as Tom Brady.

 

I think that is more likely than Daniels being a clutch Lamar Jackson.

 

So I'm going with Maye 1, McCarthy 2 and if they believe he's a better leader and more of a clutch player then it would be better to take McCarthy. Especially if they don't see Maye being clutch at all.

McCarthy is my pick also. He looks legit in every phase, maybe not spectacular in any one in particular, but just very solid all around.

Daniels looks like RGIII Part Deux. I'll pass.

Absolutely man, until I see some clear improvement with this new group Imma keep remembering every fan that we just finished the worst season in history regarding our O-line.

As someone who saw The Hogs, The younger Hogs, the Pathetic 98 Line, the Two Anchor System (Samuels & Jansen), The Dirtbags, and a bunch of other units who are best forgotten last year's effort is still seared in my eyeballs.

Those options-reads were going to fail sooner or later. And RGIII never learned how to slide, which made things much worse.

So between the guys we just signed (and I'm the first to admit I hadn't even heard about half of them) and the upcoming draft the FO expects the fanbase to hear the message loud and clear.
