  1. Yeah I might just be wishful thinking here but I'm starting to get a feeling that something out of the blue is going to pop up........We all know Schefter is pretty well connected too
  2. ****ty roster, ****ty facilities, ****ty stadium doesn't help.....How silly for me to have believed we could turn this thing around fast.
  3. But with that my biggest fear would be that EB stays on and ruins our new QB the same way we did with Howell.....I'm at the point now where I'm more concerned about decent OCs than who the HC is going to be
  4. I just hope whoever we hire brings in their own offensive coordinator. I've pretty much accepted the fact that it's going to be Quinn, and if it's someone else like Macdonald or Glenn then great, that'll be a wonderful surprise. I just want to see EB gone from here, as far away as possible. No way do I want to see him anywhere near our new QB, if that's the direction we go in the draft.
  5. The thought of EB even being on the staff makes me want to vomit, and here we are talking about a real possibility of him being the HC.....this day went to **** real fast
  6. Us life long fans of these teams really do deserve some glory......it's been decades of misery. Hopefully that run the Os had last season continues growing these next few years
  7. I could live with that, especially with Macdonald as HC......We can't underestimate the connections that Peters has throughout the league
  8. Yeah I get it, I felt the same way after that game, and like mentioned above 5 years ago I would have been cool with the "safe" hire.....I guess my brain is trying to prepare my heart for us hiring Quinn so I'm just trying to find some ray of sunlight lol 🤣
  9. So this might sound like a stupid question but what's the big knock on Quinn?? Honest question here. I'm just going with the popular opinion on the guy, but he built a great defense in Seattle, took the Falcons to the Super bowl (yes I know it was the ultimate choke job) and turned around that atrocious defense in Dallas. I see tweet after tweet about him being one of the most respected dudes in the league, but it seems like nobody wants anything to do with him. Yet people fall head over heals for Vrabel, which I don't think any of his teams were even close to being contenders, good teams, but nothing elite. And before anyone says it, I am not advocating for Dan Quinn as our HC.
  10. Well, if nobody else wants to hire him next season there's always Carolina, I'm sure they'll be in the HC market before the end of next year lol
  11. That all looks good except for the last part.......Somewhere between Washington DC and the pacific ocean there has to be someone better at OC than EB that we could hire
  12. Looks like I should have stayed gone a little while longer lol So I'm not going to **** on Johnson about staying in the motor city, what's meant to be is meant to be......so, who's next? Looks like we're still going to interview Glenn? What's the skinny on him? As a defensive coordinator he seems kinda meh, does anyone here know much about him?? Also, whoever we hire, they will win me over immediately by letting EB go on day 1
  13. Morris is quickly moving up on my list. Johnson obviously #1 but not a sure thing so I'm not going to get too overconfident. Yeah we've hired some great "leaders" that failed here over the last couple decades but keep in mind the dip**** owner played a big part in those failures. If we did hire Morris at least now we have grownups in charge running things now.
  14. The pause and smirk on his face after he was asked his opinion on the roster told us everything we need to know lol.....I believe a major overhaul is coming
  15. Most definitely agree on someone with a Mac Or Mc in their name lol......McDaniel is intriguing just because he's a small branch from the Shanahan tree
  16. So let's say we hire a "leader of men" guy and he's a defensive coach. Who would be some top incoming OCs??? I'm not really talking about current coordinators, but more so who's the next batch of Ben Johnsons and Frank Smiths coming up in the ranks. Surely Peters is well connected throughout the league and has a inside track on the younger coaching talent.
