Smith has a bone to pick. Dude was actually mad the regime didn’t want to move forward with him after he basically had 1 leg and couldn’t move at all. It was over and he wasn’t accepting it then and still seems mad.

Yeah he basically was pissed that they were so cautious with him, even after almost losing the leg to sepsis infection. At the time I posted that I didn't think Smith was too bright. That's part of it, and maybe part of it is the typical macho optimism most jocks have which clouds their judgement.

If I’m Dan, I start tomorrow by searching for a new GM. But Dan will probably wake up and belittle a maid or some guy trimming his hedges to make himself feel better before doing anything about this dumpster wreck he has created.

That's how he treats everyone in the office too. Unless they're legacy Redskins, who are treated like gold no matter their competence level.

  3. Ridiculous.PFT has a good critique, like NFL players will try to avoid signing with those teams due to the higher taxes in Europe. They can't even find 32 people to play QB decently, adding 4 more teams would just dilute the quality even further.

Pigs get fat, hogs get slaughtered. The NFLs constant search for extra pennies and jersey sales will destroy the league one day. 32 teams is more than enough.

Besides, the NFL already had teams in Europe...it was called NFL Europe and it folded in 2007. The London team didn't make any money so it basically became a German league. But they couldn't fill the stadiums...

  4. They say behind every great man is a great woman. The reverse is also true: behind every bad man is an enabler woman. Look at Jerry Jones' wife...she constantly puffs up his buffoonish ego and says things like "That Jimmy Johnson didn't give you enough credit for building that team!"

Tanya Snyder is no different, with her comment about "ridiculous" sexual harassment accusations.

    No wonder things never change...

They have an identity, the same one they've had for the last 20 years.....mediocrity.  5-8 wins every single season. At this point that is just who they end up being.

Yep, bad but not bad enough to land a top pick for a franchise QB. Or they start out slow and have a hot streak by the end of the year...this team hasn't had a playoff team that was good from Week 1 since 1999.

I wonder what's important about that date...

The only thing I’m absolutely certain of is that Bruce provided some rather scathing material to the committee, Snyder’s lawyers are aware of it, and are going on the offense to get out in front of whatever comes of it.

Bruce apparently is so good at hiding this awful culture and frat like atmosphere from Dan, he was able to do it all while being Dan’s drinking and putt putt buddy for a decade.

It also ignores the fact that some of these sexual harassment complaints predate Bruce Allen's hiring in the first place!

I honestly wouldn't be surprised if Snyder's lawyers start victim-blaming and saying that women were dressing provocatively and therefore were "asking for it." This type of defense would have worked in 1922, but not 2022.

We need Danny boy to do a rebuild, not a remodel.  We do this every few years.  We try to slap new paint and new carpet and think we did a rebuild

"It means you're close." That's the BS they keep feeding us every year, and the sad thing is they are so dumb they believe it themselves.

No moves in FA this year since they thought all they needed was a QB and then it's back to the Superb Owl. Good teams are always adding depth and not deluding themselves into believing they're one player away, because what if there's injuries or guys just don't play up to snuff?

That this team still doesn't get that after 23 years of Snyder's Folly says a lot about who is really running the team.
