  1. Imo, DEX is the future.  Whether BTC is the adopted currency remains to be seen (unlikely.)  My hesitation with BTC is the fact that 60% of its transactions are made through Tether, which is made out of thin air (like the dollar, but I digress.)  Tether will crash soon, and BTC/crypto too.  Something else will rise from the ashes.

Also remember, not your keys, not your coins.

My point was more that he can test positive again and be forced out for 10 days even if his immunity is equivalent to someone who got vaxed

Which shows the insanity going around these days.

Not having Jamin on Sunday is really to be tough going up against that offense.  Holcomb was targeted almost all day by the Raiders.  Who knows how Dal@ss is going to exploit this LB corps without Davis.  Here's hoping JDR can scheme something up with Mayo and Hudson so they can be successful.

Hudson is out. Jamin isn't definitively out yet, but obviously a concussion doesn't look good.

Cunningham was a good player. Not sure what happened in Houston this year. From what I read there were some disciplinary issues, but it could just be playing for that dog doo doo franchise brings out the worst in everyone. He'd definitely be an upgrade for us at LB.

Hear its COVID related.  More than likely won't be in for him.

This is what happened to Trea Turner and the Nationals.  He gets tested more frequently because he’s unvaccinated.  So he tests positive and then everyone around him gets tested.  I think it was 7 other guys tested positive, some players, some staff.  Those guys were asymptomatic and vaccinated and wouldn’t have been tested if it wasn’t for the unvaccinated guy.

Is being infected and none the wiser better?

So serious question here... Now that he has caught covid will he get the vaccine? His statement previously seemed to indicate if he caught it he would get vaccinated.

If a player has covid they have natural immunity similar to what they would have after getting the vaccine. However as far as the league is concerned he still is not vaccinated and will be treated that way going forward. (I could be wrong just my interpretation.)

It would benefit him and the team to get the vaccine in that case.

I think he has since been educated that that is not how vaccination works.  I am assuming him coming back from it with no issues will empower his decision to not be vaccinated, but I could be wrong.  Getting vaccinated obviously makes his life much simpler moving forward.  All we can do is wait and see what happens.

I guess Lebron James is selfish for getting covid too

LOL. He's selfish for many other reasons, that not being one of them.

Dang the hits keep coming. If Davis is out for this game our weakness on D gets even more glaring, wishing him good health and a speedy recovery.

If Collins can't go, they have major problems.

Selfish and immature? I get the connections you’re drawing, but disagree.

In my view, he’s been a good pro/productive, takes care of himself physically, well-liked in the locker room, has improved his craft each season, and not been aN issue off the field. All while on a rookie deal. Arrow continues to be up on Sweat.

    Keep the freaks!

Agreed. Not sure how an airborne virus infecting someone is selfish.

Sweat tested positive for COVID. He's out this Sunday since he's unvaccinated.

    Freaking idiot.

Unless I don't know the rules, can someone who is vaccinated that tests positive still play depending on how long until the game?  I haven't followed the COVID rules.

That @Thinking Skins Top 5 list is perhaps the wildest ranking I've laid on eyes around here.

When I think Mark Brunell, the only #2 I can think of is the one you leave in a toilet.  Sheesh.

My friend tried to equate Taylor to Scott Brunell yesterday.  Maybe Scott prior to his stint in Washington back in Jax, but by the time he got here his arm was even weaker than Taylors is.  Plus Mark was an actual scrambling QB, where Taylor is just straight up slippery (more like Romo.)

Kirk gets a lot of hate because he lacked what Heiny has loads of, and that's guts.  But Kirk was probably our best pure passer since Dan took over.  With QB traits and intangibles considered, I expect Taylor to take that #1 spot on Dan era QBs.

Prior to Heiny, my favorite Dan QB had been Rex Grossman.  That man could take a hit, and get back up again.

I fully expect Taylor to connect on a deep shot this weekend.

  11. Why doesn't Hudson get any PT?  He is so quick.  He can't be worse than Bostic or Collins, right?

I would just run a 6 man front with Hudson and Jamin as the backers and Curl at FS.  WJIII at CB and whatever other body at CB.

                                                               Curl

                                             Hudson

                                                                              Jamin

Fuller?                     Sweat   Allen  Settle  Payne  Ion  Chase                        WJIII

I know that's insane, but that's our best defense imo lol.  Could last maybe a series before everyone is gassed.

  12. Do we entertain bringing Jamie Collins in?  Or will that just result in a second Jersey stamped with the name Collins on it being left behind?  He would probably only cost a 7th.  He could even be cut?

(Would he even want to come here?)

He's just another in a long line of FA safeties desperately trying to be Sean Taylor but I believe God has decided there will be only one.  How many more will we go thru?  I hope he's the last!

I would seriously be shopping him for a draft pick.  Hell, I'd take a fifth for him.

I'd take a 7th, but no one is trading for Collins.
