This dude isn't a nobody, 11K plus followers. But hard for me to believe this would happen this early before Tua is finished with the medicals, etc. I recall McShay something is coming out about Tua soon medically but not yet.
He is a nobody. Look at his feed.

Ehhhh I'd say Clowney is his floor. But his ceiling is beyond Garrett's.

I agree....gonna be tough for any rookie to come out of college and match the impact Bosa has had in the league. I say this because I think the learning curve in the NFL is different for all rookies and Bosa seemed to get comfortable very quickly. I think that alone is gonna be tough for Chase Young to match let alone do better.
Luckily we have one of the best DCs now. Look at what he did with Mack in his second year. Not saying Young is gonna have Bosa type impact but having JDR helps a lot with his development. -

Sweat was taken with the 26th pick not in the top 5. If he’s as good as Preston or a little more that’s still a successful player. Preston got paid handsomely this offseason.

You mean the team who actually goes to the playoffs and has a better history on hitting on their draft picks? Yes, they actually are smarter than this team. So I would agree.
Stop acting dumb. He literally was about to be cut until he developed in his 4th year. Not everyone dominates right out of the gate.

Yes, we should have stayed at #10 and drafted JJ Watt instead. Next question.
edit: It’s only game 1, I get it, but I’m done making excuses for this team, coach and players.
Dallas was super smart for giving up on DeMarcus Lawrence his rookie season since he had zero sacks, right?

Anderson is downright garbage. He’s a 1 percentile athlete and hasn’t done jack **** in 2 years. Keep him as a situational run stopper/fullback but he shouldn’t be starting anywhere.

I like Josh and think he has the ability to play outside as a lb in our 3-4. He definitely showed some pass rushing abilities last year. I think if he can show something then he and Sweat can rotate along with Ryan. I still like Mason and Ryan Anderson to be our mlbs and have Shaun and Rueben as our backups with one of them alternating outside.
If you ask me that’s a pretty formidable linebacker crew!
No no no no no. We should not have the two slowest players on the team starting at ILB.

This fear may be unfounded but one of the things that concerns me most about sweat is the fact the colts didn't want him.
They've been drafting amazingly well lately and also have a huge need for a pass rusher, but instead of counting their lucky stars that sweat fell to them they traded back 20 spots.
Just seems like they should have run to the podium but hey hopefully their wrong this time, I know I'm pretty excited to see what he can do in the burgundy and gold.
Good teams pass on great players on a regular basis. I guess Darius Leonard isn't good now because the Patriots didn't take him.

Time to cut losses with Doctson. We should have traded for Gordon.

But our starters ****ing suck....
well honestly don’t know if Richardson sucks because he’s played like 8 games in his career but Jesus.
we had a pretty damn good receiving Corp two years ago and proceeded to say “**** it” and set it on fire for the sake of “money”....and still went ahead and signed a marginal guy like Richardson. Wtf is the money going?? To pay Preston Smith to get stood up by JAGS??!
The money is going towards...having a mediocre QB for $12 mil less gtd than a very good one?

But I think he's a good QB -- game manager -- conservative -- doesn't make mistakes. I thought the Alex profile == more let it fly balls headed to Doctson seemed silly. It didn't add up.
He’s not even a good QB. He’s average. He’s only good if you have a championship caliber team and you need someone to not throw INTs at the wrong time.
But relying on him as your long term QB should be enough to get you fired.

he had six last year
And he won’t even get close to that this year with Alex Smith.

This report is entirely fabricated with zero truth to it. They’re taking Young at 2 and that’s final.
