  1. He has zero holes in his game, I've been a big fan of this pick since day 1. When you are a great route runner with 4.3 speed, great hands, great work ethic, and a monstrous blocker, your chance of being a good player is very high. Our boy Dwayne Haskins also had a perfect passer rating when passing to Mclaurin, as much as I'd love for that to be because Haskins was amazing, I think we can assume it was because of Scary Terry. "I think they are, almost, freaked out with how good he is," Hoffman from the fan. With quotes like this, it makes me feel like the Redskins think they landed a #1 WR and they know it.
  2. I'm hearing things about Robert Davis looking good as well. Not to mention Kelvin Harmon who everyone said was a steal. I'd love for Doctson to get cut honestly, just to send a message to the team. You either perform or you're gone, regardless of draft status.
  3. I'm not as concerned about his contract $$$ as I am seeing a younger player with more potential losing a roster spot due to his contract committment. I have the same thoughts as you here, PRich is such an average player
  4. Call this a hunch but I think McLaurin's got the stuff. He reminds me of Doug Baldwin probably more than any other receiver I've watched.
  5. I agree with you here, I wouldn't put Kerrigan as an elite player either.
  6. I've never seen an above average player average almost 11 sacks a year since entering the league. I'm sorry but I just don't see how Ryan Kerrigan and 'above average' are synonymous. He's a very good player. A lot of fans take him for granted, but the guy has a really good initial get-off from the LOS, and is obviously extremely strong. Yes he doesn't look like an athletic freak when running, but his quickness off the line makes up for it. He's about to break the all-time Redskins sack record with an absolute garbage DL around him the majority of his professional career, last year was the first time he played with a really good DL. I'm not attacking you or anything, i would just like to hear what makes him just an above average player in your eyes.
  7. 😂 did not expect that. Guy hugging him looked a little off tbh, maybe special needs or something. Even if Montez Sweat is indeed Montez Sweet it doesnt matter, dudes gonna dominate either way.
  8. Ryan Kerrigan riding the bench is insane. When he eventually slows down, sure, but right now he is still producing at a pro bowl level clip. Sweat and Ryan Anderson is where the competition will be at. A guy averaging 10.5 sacks a year since hes been in the NFL will not be on the bench unless hes injured or broken down. I actually hope this year Kerrigan breaks 15 sacks so people can stop using the "he's never had a great season excuse".
  9. I counted 8 that McLaurin unnecessarily had to come back to or slow down a lot for. The throws at (0:35), (1:43), (3:49), (4:16), (4:23), (5:36), (6:02), (6:19) were all off throws and not accurate at all. They were either luckily caught, defender wasnt looking at the ball, or his pass could have prevented the first down or more yardage. I dont expect the guy to be perfect but he's not even close to as accurate as people are making him out to be. I'm not even a Haskins hater and support the pick 100%, but I just figured I'd share with people what I noticed. He doesnt look like your plug and play rookie QB in my opinion. From what I'm seeing in this video he needs some time to develope.
  10. If anyone has any questions about my opinions on Haskins and his accuracy issues that I had in the draft thread, just watch this video. There's a ridiculous amount of under thrown balls here, he rarely hits him in stride, and these are completed passes to him.
  11. Not really, if Mason Foster and Ryan Anderson are starting at ILB, that means Reuben Foster and SDH must be terrible players.
  12. Their picks in the 1st were uber obvious choices besides Hooker (who has looked decent) and had very low chances of busting. An OC and an OG, yes they hit on them but they were surefire picks. I dont think even Indy knew just how good Darius Leonard was, they struck gold on that 2nd rounder. I'd trust our guys just as much as theirs, look at our 1st round history besides Doctson.
  13. If he pans out, offenses are going to have to add an extra blocker against us pretty much on a consistent basis. All 5 DL/Edge guys (Kerrigan, Payne, Ioannidis, Allen, Sweat) should win most of their 1 on 1s, so I dont even know how teams are going to deal with it. If Ryan Anderson and Tim Settle breakout this group could stay fresh with quality guys coming in and rotating. It's just an awesome feeling knowing we're finally putting extreme value into building the DL.
  14. I'm not sold on Brantley as much as I am Settle. He looks like a beast out there at times and if he improves more, we could have a 4 man DT rotation with little dropoff. That's just absurd
  15. I do not envy these guys being interviewed like this. I would hate it, kudos to Sweat and Haskins for handling the interview pretty well. Got a better feel for Haskins after this interview and he's quick to compliment other players and the organization. Didn't come off as a 'me' type player at all, which is an awful trait for a QB. Sweat, seems like a laid back chill dude. The Ryan Anderson question was stupid, obviously the starter hasn't been discussed yet, he's never even practiced in a Redskins uniform. Also, Ryan Kerrigan is a superstar person as if we didn't know that. Immediately reaches out to Sweat and asks if there's anything he can do to help ease him into the city.
  16. I agree with this, good QBs shredded us up the middle because we were so slow and once Dunbar went down our defense fell off a cliff. Maybe it's just me, but Hamilton doesn't seem that slow. That could be because he was playing next to Foster though.
  17. Lmao this coaching staff hates Doctson. This guy is literally the anti-doctson, probably why they chose him. Welcome to the Redskins!
  18. He needs to play a little lower and learn to bend his body a little better to get under OTs, but the man is also 6-6 so that's not an easy thing for someone that size to do.
  19. Ioannidis is an interior DL player, Sweat is an Edge player and will be rushing from the outside.
  20. Sweat actually has the speed to get to the QBs. Preston's issue is he was always just a second too late.
  21. Wowwww, we got our Edge guy. He's a physical freak, holy moly.
  22. Nashville is a really fun city, NFL made a good choice having the draft there. They love their sports there, you should have a lot of fun I think. I don't have any information on the venue that it's being held at, but I sure hope you like hot chicken because they live for it there.
  23. With the signing AD and him maybe keeping #26, Landon Collins should wear #21. As much as I loved Sean, this page needs to be turned. Its been 12 years... He was a great player for us and it broke all our hearts when he died, he was supposed to be the next great safety. The truth is, we will probably never have a safety with that much potential ever again, but If someone wants to wear 21 in his memory, just let them. We didnt win multiple super bowls with him, he didnt have a career littered with All-pro selections (although it would have been highly likely). So why the tight grip on that number? Do something nice at the stadium to honor him like have game worn jerseys on display, something people can look at and appreciate the player that we had. (Maybe they already have a section in the stadium?)
  24. Peyton Manning is truly missed in the league. Probably my favorite non Redskin QB of all time.
