  1. Ioannidis is an interior DL player, Sweat is an Edge player and will be rushing from the outside.
  2. Sweat actually has the speed to get to the QBs. Preston's issue is he was always just a second too late.
  3. Wowwww, we got our Edge guy. He's a physical freak, holy moly.
  4. Nashville is a really fun city, NFL made a good choice having the draft there. They love their sports there, you should have a lot of fun I think. I don't have any information on the venue that it's being held at, but I sure hope you like hot chicken because they live for it there.
  5. With the signing AD and him maybe keeping #26, Landon Collins should wear #21. As much as I loved Sean, this page needs to be turned. Its been 12 years... He was a great player for us and it broke all our hearts when he died, he was supposed to be the next great safety. The truth is, we will probably never have a safety with that much potential ever again, but If someone wants to wear 21 in his memory, just let them. We didnt win multiple super bowls with him, he didnt have a career littered with All-pro selections (although it would have been highly likely). So why the tight grip on that number? Do something nice at the stadium to honor him like have game worn jerseys on display, something people can look at and appreciate the player that we had. (Maybe they already have a section in the stadium?)
  6. Peyton Manning is truly missed in the league. Probably my favorite non Redskin QB of all time.
  7. Mason Foster has been a liability all game. Running into blocked players instead of hitting the hole, and very slow to react on the short pass. Hes also slow period so that doesnt make the situation any better.
  8. I'm trying to think who's the weak link on our starting defense and I don't think we truly have one. Preston Smith is the only one I'm "meh" about right now, but he's much better than many other defenses worst starter. Mason Foster is playing very good this season (and he was last season as well in the beginning too), Brown isn't where he needs to be yet, but he's still good. I mean we've taken extraordinary steps over the past 2 seasons on D. Do you all think we're resigning PS?
  9. A 4th for Golden Tate seems fair, he's a good player. Much better than Amari Cooper who Dallas offered a 1st round pick for.
  10. Dunbar suffering from nerve damage and is in pain every step he takes when he runs. Sounds like it could be Kyshoen Jarrett situation.
  11. I think he found the perfect situation, it's more of the Colts being pass happy and Luck trusting him than Ryan Grant himself. Ryan Grant is a solid #2 which is something it looks like we'll soon have a million of here on our roster soon. I'm really hoping Cam Sims turns out to be something, I think if everything aligns he could be the guy we need.
  12. They're just nagging injuries, but theres been a lot. I'm glad they're bringing back Quinn. I'm interested to see what he brings to the team
  13. Injuries are going to haunt us again, I feel like we have 10+ players with nagging injuries again and this doesnt even include players like Guice, Sims, and Quinn who are on IR.
  14. I'm still in disbelief, Dallas could be giving up a top 10 pick. They're only 3-4, so it's just crazy to think that they value Cooper that highly. I think this was a PR move by JJ that is backfiring badly, he thinks that team is closer than they are but that OL is a shell of what it was in 2016.
  15. I'm sure Jay inquired about him. This is great, shows a lot that apparently we called and didnt make an offer. Jon probably told Jay to stay away
  16. Dallas panicked after yesterday lol. They actually gave up a 1st round pick for Amari Cooper. I would have considered a 2nd round pick at the highest, but a 1st? Wow
  17. Maybe Jay's brother can trade Cooper to us for a 2nd and Doctson. ...Or maybe Jon will just take Doctson off our hands if we throw in a complimentary 7th round pick.
  18. To be honest, it's part Alex Smith and our Receivers. We just need to alleviate the problem and get the best blocking receivers money can buy.
  19. Josh Gordon please, we need to gamble on a WR imo. That position is falling apart quickly Btw I cant believe players are getting suspended for marijuana... if your state legalizes it, I think players should be allowed to smoke.
  20. I hate when rookies get injured for the year, it's the absolute worst. When you're a 1st year player you're not entirely sure if you're going to cut it in the league if you haven't played a game, you need that confidence of knowing "I've dominated previously and need to get back to where I was" or something along those lines during the recovery process. I HATE this for Trey Quinn and Cam Sims. I also believe Doctsons rookie year is the reason why he isnt as good as he could have been. He was already old for a rookie, then he spent the 1st year injured with a nagging injury and the 2nd year he was probably still recovering and getting to game speed. Hes what, 26 now? To this date he's done absolutely nothing, rookie injuries completely delay the development process. I also think Doctson just doesnt have it in him to be great. Lastly, I also cant think of a receiving corps (not including our TEs) worse than ours. Maybe Dallas? I would love to be proven wrong here and would eat a big ass plate of crow with a smile on my face in the process. I'm already taking a look at what WRs are coming out of the draft, we need a legit #1.
  21. Yeah, I think the Raven/Dolphins game proves that the Ravens are the biggest try-hards of the preseason.
  22. Instead of actually making it past the 2nd round, DC might be the first city to ever have four teams with 2nd round exits
  23. Hmm, with our current team I think pass protection is a bit more important, we need to keep Kirk as clean as we can through the game. I don't think Lauvao is a bad player either, I think he suffers from being the worst player on a really good offensive line. He's a lunch pail guy, but if our line is going to ascend into a great offensive line, we have to upgrade here. It seems like with Arie, it's all mental. If he puts it together in combination with his physical traits, I think we'll be looking at an even better unit next year.
  24. Recently read an article about Arie Kouandjio and I think if he can put it all together he can start for us this year. He has the physical abilities and super long arms for an interior player. One of his issues is blocking in space, but if Bill Callahan can tap into his mind and get this corrected I think he might be our starter. I know he's started for us a few times, did anybody really notice that much of a difference between him and Lauvao?
