  1. the Bills uniforms are a throwbck after a failed modernization attempts. The Giants are also old school. For some reason I'm not a bit fan of the recents dark uniform pants a lot of teams are sporting. Thet seem to be missing something
  2. those things are great and as for modernizing they follow the design of most NFL team with the sandwich strip on the side of the pants
  3. the white pants were lousy and vertical strips are a thing with really limitied appeal. Increasing it to the point the entire pants looked striped is not a good idea. Gold/yellow pants are a must, it's that simple
  4. yes, this is what our uniforms should be no, I hate the white pants when we have a color option. And white pants might mean someone decides a white on white uniform is a good idea which just shouldn't exist sometimes I wish there was an unlike option
  5. our pants are not really any different from say the Pack or the Steelers, that's what I'm talking abpout
  6. I agree. Hell, I'd like to see a yellow jersey with burgundy pants do you go around telling every team in the league it's not the 70s? Several teams wear pants almost exactly like them and as nce as the burgundy pants are they aren't 14 to 15 games per year nice which is what they'd be worn if we went back to white jerseys at home.
  7. I get sick of hearing about schedule difficulty. The Skins have the same number of games against first place teams, since they won't be playing the NFC East champs twice. And as for no wins against winning teams last year, they only played against three winning teams and were the reason a few others fell below that
  8. if we do bring back the white and burgundy, we're not doing it in the preseason
  9. no, I did not know what looks fast meant. And the Redskins had a decade of winning with their 80s look. Then they had a decade and a half of losing with it. Allen's look last most of the 70s and while we were never a champ, we did reach the Super Bowl and had numerous very good years
  10. I would say they fit with the Cowboys, Giants, Bears, Packers, Vikings, Saints, 49ers and the Rams in the NFC, the Ravens, Chargers, Bills, Steelers, Chiefs, Colts, Raiders. That puts on the same side as half the league. And the other half has some disasters like the Jags uniforms
  11. white doesn't clash with anything and reds and yellows don't clash with each other. We aren't even the only team in the league with a variation of that color scheme. The issue with the white on yellow is is't to boring "Just look faster," man that's just nonsense talk. Look having to do with speed? Only if we toss some flag patches on and turn them like they do on jets. except for maybe tossing in some yellow shoulders like some teams do with their secondary colors the modern uniforms in the NFL don't do much for me. And the stripes matching is a total non-issue for me
  12. what does the complaint about the stripes not matching even mean?
  13. how is it not up to date. And as a fan of our burgundy jerseys and not a fan of white pants I love this combination
  14. it's all a matter of taste, and why I feel sorry for the people who have to try to please everyone. Cause where you see classic and clean, I see bland and boring
  15. no, I don't want the burgundy pants too, we wore that once or maybe twice during the Zorn era and it didn't work, plus funnily enough it showed the two weren't exactly the same color. Basically I don't want white pants, under any circumstances so I don't want a uniform set up that could let it happen. As for the Skins being outdated, they're the exact style of the Packers and Steelers. You want to see a yellow goldish color looking out of date look at the Ravens wearing gold pants last December http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/news/look-ravens-rocking-gold-pants-for-the-first-time-ever-and-theyre-ugly/
  16. considering the alternative is white pants or burgundy pants with white jerseys all the time no thank you. I always wanted more of the burgundy jerseys when I was younger and am not interested in losing it. I wish people would stop trying to get rid of color
  17. are you serious? Multiple teams in the NFL use black, the Browns actually use brown, The Bears use navy blue, the Rams, the Seahawks, the Bucs, the Broncos and Eagles all use color variations far darker than their late 80s early 90s colors
  18. excuse me? I hate videos over articles because I have to listen to people talk for longer than it takes me to read the article
  19. I hate clicking a link , expecting an article and finding a video
  20. Tenessee had one last year and it was all blue as I recall. But last year black was also rumored for us. Frankly I like the idea of color rush, but I didn't like the uniformity. Most teams go with a color and white or reversed when doing unis so just mixing up two colors would be just as unique as the all one color look and probably blend better
  21. I love the gold pants with the burgundy jerseys, I just wish we could wear the burgundy pants with the white jerseys, because I consider that the more important and nicer color
