Totally agree on evaluating players especially in the secondary. I think next year we might find some solid players if they are used in the right scheme and role.

I was just admiring the toilet paper picture. I couldn't really give an opinion on who is better or worse of the top QB's. In fact, it would not surprise me if Michael Pratt was not the best QB in the draft. The best scouts have not been accurate on whether a QB can make it in the NFL throughout history so even though I like the information on QB's on this forum, I do not take it too seriously.

A question. Before I became an attorney, I worked on a firefighting, hotshot crew for 7 years. I found individuals with Daniel's body type, thin and muscular, were less inclined to get injured. Is there any data on this? clearly thin and weak get injured easily, however, so does heavy and weak. Some pluses on Maye below.

If we can get a Trey Lance type trade for no. 2, then I would take it. This is a great draft to have many picks and can look to trade up next year with extra no, 1 picks. I would be somewhat conservative on free agent signings, saving cash for next year. My objective would be having a solid offensive line and defensive line set for some years. A trade with Atlanta should give us Fashanu, in the first, a franchise type center with their 2nd, with our draft picks hitting on a deep draft class of wide receiver and BPA. To me, this year, is fairly undefined. We might find out some of our disasters (Forbes) under the old regime might be solid starters. I am a bit reluctant to take a huge leap until we figure out what we have. I would prefer another bad season maximizing what we have and securing resources for the future once we know what we have, than a better season with more undefined data for the future.
