  1. I would love to get Morgan this year if he falls to one of our seconds. If he does not work at Tackle he could probably become an elite guard.
  2. with this one we get better with strength of schedule and it is more likely Dallas will be playing a meaningful game with us. Not as big as us losing the Super Bowl of ineptitude against the Jets next week, but every little bit helps: https://www.tankathon.com/nfl
  3. I did some drafts trading down using the draft value chart and PFF simulator. With the number 2 pick my trade down from 2 was based on the history of trading up for a QB. I excluded picking some players who seemed to be slotted too low like Jayden Daniels QB who went 39th on one of the drafts. 4. If Philly loses tonight, it helps us on several levels. It might mean be our game with Dallas has importance to Dallas-I believe they are going to be at the same time as the Philly game. Also, our strength of schedule becomes weaker. As for Howell, lately it has been distressing, but he has good company with other quarterbacks who turned out decent or very good and turned it around in year 2. I guess he is also in good company with quarterbacks who turned out bad, also. I would love to trade back from the 2nd or 3rd pick and get a haul of draft picks. We could do this while remaining in the top 7, where there are 2 excellent wide receivers, an excellent tight end, and 2 excellent OTs so we would get a prime player.
  5. Hope Arizona will pull the upset Hope Arizona will pull the upset
  6. Thanks for the work. It is hard to predict now but I think we are looking at 3rd or 4th. I think Arizona passes us. I would love the 2nd. A trade down could land us Harrison or Bowers, or one of the 2 OT's and give us incredible draft Capital,2024 NFL Trade Value Chart (drafttek.com)https://www.drafttek.com/NFL-Trade-Value-Chart.asp. The 2600 value gives us basically a 5th and an 18th
  7. I value your opinion. I am somewhat torn. I would like a good offensive minded coach; I am worried if a good one will be available. I like his inside knowledge of the Cowboys and their offense as well as being innovative on the defensive side of the ball.
  8. If we trade down from the second pick and up from Chicago's pick we are at this value according to the trade value chart: 2600 -2nd 1050-15nd 1000-16nd 950-17nd from the third 2200 - 3 rd 1000-16th 950-17nd 780-22nd from the fourth 1800 4th 1000-16th 800- 21st and we keep Chicago’s second another scenario 2600 -2nd 1700-5th-giving us top OT or Bowers 900-18th-Another OT and we keep the 2 seconds for trade up or offensive line. It seems like we have the basis of a good offensive line and probably more for the future.
  9. I think we get a great trade for a QB. Think of San Francisco for Lance. I believe we can get a first for next year and pick up 2 to 3 very good offensive linemen. (Alt, Lathem, Sims, Fuaga, Morgan, Fautanu, Barton).
  10. So you say you want an offensive line draft.

  12. that is a much more solid argument. As someone who has done "Amicus Curiae" briefs in the United States Supreme Court "Farmer v. Brennan", Death penalty cases State v. Shepard. and cases won in the Montana Supreme Court "State v. Kaufman", I do not think my view was unsound. I agree with you; he was a huge waste of money, and I doubt he will be very good. However, I think showing other players that a person will have a chance to compete after a down year in a bad position for him is not a bad example. I think it shows a non-stupid loyalty; If he shows nothing but being an adequate backup up, we will cut him when it makes financial sense. Well, I am done with this topic. I am sorry I upset so many of you. I never thought I would say this but. "GO PATRIOTS"
  13. Interested how you find it unsound. Is this something you feel or is there any logic behind it. It would not be the first time an out of position player came back and did a respectable job. I think it would be a horrible example to make a rash decision because everyone is irritated at this dysfunctional season. Bring him back, let him compete.
  14. Unless Wylie is a cancer in the locker room we should bring him back. We lose all the money. anyway. Even if he was an adequate back up, it makes sense.
  15. I love that scenario. Think of what San Francisco traded for a Quarterback. Remember. New regime. We might be able to fill a few holes on the offensive line through free agency. I do not see much out there, but there are a few guards and who knows. If we get a RT we can shift Wylie to guard where he might be somewhat adequate.
