    1. I've got evidence supporting that did in fact work in all but the Eagles game. It's not the best evidence, but it's an excellent indicator.

    2. They didn't really. We covered this in the other thread. Market value of the lower bowl is actually higher than the club level. That's gotta stop right?

They should do it something like the the NHL's Knights. Sell the tickets to you and I at a discount, we agree not to re-sell them. If there's a resale, they stop selling us tickets. That protects their product in the middle rows. The upstairs could be used to generate goodwill and interest among the younger generations, military, first responders, etc.

What they need to do is what the Caps did for a while.  They had 2 different STM prices.  1 for Renewals and 1 for new folks.   So if you renewed you got a bigger discount on your tickets then new season ticket holders.   And new season ticket holders got a bigger discount then gate prices.   Obviously that the Caps don't do this anymore cause they are the hot team in town.

On a side note I'd love to be able to see available see before committing to renewing.   I'm in the upper deck row 1 in the corner Endzone.  My rep told me there was a lot of seats in row 1 or 2 closer to the 50 that they were "holding"   Not sure whatever happened to those seats, but its pretty much BS they were holding seats that I'd be interested in moving to.

    Yep having the same issue

My Friend just got an email from the Redskins that says  Mini-Plan available.   NY and Eagles - Guaranteed Playoff Priority.  Plans start as low as $70.   Now either that is poorly worded or somehow they are now selling tickets for $35 a ticket per game to hit that $70 mark.

  3. Anyone else having issues find the Redzone on the NFL app?  Pretty sure it was there when the season started but I can't find it now.   When I click on Setting in the App, my Season Ticket Holder account is logged in,  but under subscriptions for NFL Redzone is has a greyed out active (unlike Game Pass which is highlighted blue.

I will believe it when I see it, they are more out of sorts this year then I have every seen.  Most people just say anything to get you off the phone whether correct or not!

ha maybe but it was my rep who told me this and he knows I got him on speed dial so getting me off the phone only means I'll call him back again. lol

No i was wondering the same thing. Last year the login passwords came in the middle of august. If i remember correctly it was still listed as a perk with season tickets

checked with the ticket office.  They said hopefully by Friday.

For those who went last week and are going tonight, I'm curious to see how much bigger the crowd is for tonight's game. Last week, I was able to get a club ticket on Stubhub about four hours before the game for $20 (fees included), and I believe upper deck was low teens. For tonight's game, club seats are starting near $60, and uppers are starting near $40......and were near $50 this morning!

I know this game being on a Friday vice Thursday might make a difference, but still, its preseason (albeit the one where the starters play the most). Is AP moving the needle that much?

Edit: Did want to post this blog article from Steinberg about the Skins mailing free tickets for tonight to previous STH, which also mentions the email they are sending comparing what it would cost to go to the Packers, Cowboys, and Eagles games as a STH vice what those tickets are going for on Stubhub right now (they use a LL section in the end zone as an example). After I gave up my club seats 10 years ago, the Skins gave me free Paul McCartney tickets to try and entice me back.

    https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/dc-sports-bog/wp/2018/08/24/now-the-redskins-are-just-mailing-out-free-preseason-tickets/?noredirect=on&utm_term=.078cc756c142

This is BS if you ask me.  I can't even give away my pre-season ticket which I'm forced to pay for and here they are giving them out for free.

I was looking at my tickets and noticed that the prices for the regular season games had three different prices:

My seats are upper upper deck sidelines (sect 401).

    Dallas:  $144

    Packers, Gnats, Iggles:  $87

Colts, Panthers, Falcons, Texans : $70

This does not change the overall STH price, but if you are selling a friend the Dallas game, then they can see the $144 price.

The fact that four of the regular season games are priced LESS than 1/10 of the STH price ($759 for me) is surprising.  FINALLY -- This is something I have been wanting for years

OOPS, I pulled out of a comment you had responded to and it tied it to you...I did not realize it would do that.

So I had mentioned that a few weeks ago, here are my upper deck prices -

    Pre-season - $44 (both games)

    Colts - $86

    Packers $111

    Panthers $86

    Cowboys $159

    Falcons $86

    Texans $86

    Giants $111

    Eagles $111

Last year they sort of started it by dropping the price of the pre-season and increasing all the others to the same prices, but this year all the game prices got changed, sort of like how the Caps do it.

Up to 50% means 50% of less, so what is 50% off or was this another "error".

Weird, not sure why that quoted me on the attendance but that wasn't something I said.

Decided to buy a club level ticket for $20 and go to the game tonight. When I got upstairs I went to the table to get literature I told them that I had been a club level STH for 10 years in the past and the gentleman said "oh, so can we expect you back?" I said probably through Stubhub and he said that secondary market prices are going to skyrocket and that changes are coming that is going to tighten up the secondary market to make it harder for non-Redskins fans to get tickets and that he'd hate for me to not be there for the Dallas game. I said "We'll see."  The listing had sideline clubs for 7500, goalline clubs for 5750, corner clubs for 4500, and dream seats for 7300. Price negotiable depending on length of contract.

Half hour before game time, got a case of the munchies and headed over to the Johnny Rockets stand for a chocolate milkshake. Nope, choco milkshake not available.  Thanks Skins!  Of course, they'd be more than happy to take my money for the $100 buffet. Looks like STH will get a $1-2 discount on food items, but not on any sort of drinks.

Last preseason game I went to was in 2015 when the Lions ate RG3 for dinner. Recollections of that game are hazy, but I remember there were significantly more people at that game than there were tonight. Others might have different opinions, but I think tonight's crowd was shockingly low. Yes, I know, just a preseason game, but still.

The food discounts are only $1-2?   I guess when it said up to 50% we should have assumed nothing would actually be 50% off.

They actually aren't even meaning to punish fans that sold their tickets online. So what happened, is the ticket office allowed access to the digital tickets before the hard tickets were sent to the printing company. If you sold or transferred your digital tickets, it caused your hard tickets not to get printed. When you stop and think about it. That makes sense. The problem comes is the ticket office did not know this was going to happen. Looking back on it, they told me they should have had a warning banner pop up saying if sell or transfer you don't get hard tickets. This digital ticketing system is a learning process for the ticket office as well. I fell like they went 50/50 this year on it instead on 100%. There should be a season ticket holder card. That has your seats on it and the concession stand can scan. I think the set up the NATS have with NATS Access is something the skins should look at.

I am not sure the amount % off on the cessions stands. I think it is like 25%. Save a couple bucks on stuff.

I have also heard for the people that did not get the nice hard tickets there will be a set of tickets you can order to have the hard copy. I don't know the price or if this is something they will give for free.

I went to the fan forum at Fedex field a couple of months ago and everyone there said they hated the digital ticket idea.  And 1 lady mentioned her rep told her that for the 2019-20 season it will all be digital. I don't remember if it was Jake Bye or one of the other new guys at the front office, but he said that is totally incorrect and they plan on having hard tickets for the foreseeable future.  Now weather he was telling the truth is another thing....

  11. If the Redskins ever make it to the Super Bowl again or even better yet win it will be impossible to get tickets again.   I waited on that stupid waiting list for 15+ years, I finally have tickets in the upper deck row 1 (though I refuse to pay more to move to the lower levels).    Take the Caps for example.  They won the Stanley Cup and now you can't get season tickets anymore, only partial game plans.  There is always going to be 1000s of fans who flock to whatever team is hot at the time, so just remember this down the road.

  12. Also haven't seen anyone mention it but they went to dynamic pricing this year fully.   Last year Pre-season had a cheap face value and all the other games had a higher value (but they were the same price)

This year most of the prices are different (will use my upper deck sidelines as an example).

    Pre-season - $44 (both games)

    Colts - $86

    Packers $111

    Panthers $86

    Cowboys $159

    Falcons $86

    Texans $86

    Giants $111

    Eagles $111

Just got yet another email from ticket office imploring me to renew.  This one with the subject line "Joe Theismann wants you to renew your season tickets!"

Body of email shows a scowling Joe T pointing a finger at "me" urging me to renew.

I laughed out loud.  It was creative.  That's for certain.  But I'm still not renewing even with Joe bullying me.  LOL

They actually just posted that photo on their Facebook page.   can we assume if they are sending this out they didn't open any of the seats from folks who didn't renew to the public?

  14. My Chiropractor got his yesterday.   I got a Fedex shipping email the other day saying mine would be here on Friday (3rd).   Assuming they were all shipped the same, they now come in this box with a mini charger, USB drive and such.  Sort of looks like how the Caps have been shipping their tickets the last couple of years.

  15. not much going on in the upper deck now that my time just started.  I'm in 449, Row 1 on the aisle.   Only decent seat I see is 451 row 2 (2 seats from the aisle).  Dont think its worth giving up and aisle and front row for 2 sections closer to mid field.  Thoughts?

Yeah I was surprised there doesn't seem to be a lot of tickets available, I am guessing they either kept them or sold them to brokers.  I thought for sure there would be something worthy to move over towards the sidelines more.  Currently I am in section 105 and there were zero tickets in that section.

The email says " Great seat locations will be available! "    So is that true? :)     Also anyone with upper level seats.  Hows the nosebleed looking close to midfield.

I won the Redskins Rewards trip with Doug Williams legends to the Bahamas! So excited and I love being a season ticket holder.

Grats that's awesome.   I won the Pro - Bowl trip this year in Orlando.  Was awesome.  Love Redskins Rewards

Location is  first priority followed by season ticket longevity. Redskins upgrades start with lower level sidelines first by seniority; then end zone and seniority; then it moves to the upper level. Or looked at a different way, the most expensive seats get to upgrade first based on seniority and it moves forward.

I am sideline but the lesser expensive seats and have been a season ticket holder now for 16 years. My upgrade time is Thursday at 10am.

So I emailed the Redskins to find out why my time was so late  on Friday now and this was their response:  "In terms of the timing on the seat relocation program, this year we have fewer time frames with more Season Ticket Members in each time frame group. In the past we’ve had over 20 separate time frames/Season Ticket Member groups. This year, we have 8 separate time frames/Season Ticket Member groups for relocations. The purpose of the larger groups is to allow Season Ticket Members more time to look at availability and to relocate their seats. With that said, since the groups are bigger this year, some people who may have fallen into the earlier time frames in the past are now part of the larger group towards the end of the relocation time period."

My window is 10 AM on Friday May 18.  I've had tickets for 18 years.

In a shocking development, it appears the ticket office is acting unfairly and/or arbitrarily.   (I don't care though.  Very likely sticking with my upper level seats right on the 50-yard line.)

Hmm you mention you are in the upper deck and your time is Friday.  Wonder if they are having the folks in the lower bowl move first to try to fill those.

  19. Just got my email about the seat relocation program this year.   The odd thing is this year I got 2:00 pm on Friday but last year it was 10am on a Friday.  So unless they are only doing 1 day vs 2 days this year, I moved way later for some reason. (had season tickets for 8 years).

    Cool.

It wasn't available when I tried.

    Thanks for the update!

if you call them you can also do 4 payments too.  I did it last year and again this year..  So they charge you in Feb, March, April and May.
