The fantasy drafts next year are going to be EPIC for this team.

I can't believe there isn't already a Vaudeville shtick staring Penix and Nix, or would that be Nix and Penix? Penix must've been razzed a lot as a kid. He's gotta be mentally tough.

If the top QBs are out of the running, I want Marvin Harrison, Jr. Use 2 out of the next 4 picks on the OL, spend some OL $ in FA and you still have 2 picks in the 2nd and 3rd rounds, plus the rest of the draft and FA to do whatever. I want a QB to have time to pass and to pass to Marvin Harrison, Jr. and Terry McLaurin. Every other consideration is just that.

I’ll buy you a ticket when they induct them into the Ring of Honor. 🤣
Sadly, I still have the three tickets (me and my parents) I bought for the HOF inductions of Monk and Green. Shortly after they arrived, my cousin (dad's brother's son) decided to get married that weekend....

Two of our most enjoyable victories against Dallas, ever, were in 2012. I was against the trade up for RGIII, but he did give us one of the most memorable seasons in any of our lifetimes. The real problem was that Shanahan botched RGIII's knee.
Schuler was botched from the very beginning. Holy carp. I couldn't believe it when he was selected.

No one wants to lose to the Commandies.

I'm fine with keeping Howell but if we hit #2 and someone is willing to pay a 2nd for him, then sure. Otherwise, almost everyone else goes and we rebuild the team from the ground up. Terry needs to have a chance to make the playoffs other than by sneaking in with a losing record.

Minimum high 2nd and a 2025 3rd is my asking price for Howell. Whoever wants him will pay that because they likely have nothing else they're comfortable with.
That's fair for a QB who would be top half with a functional OL.

#2 pick would be an unreal beginning to the true Harris eraIf that happens and the team's new draft gurus are certain there's a franchise QB at 2, then take him and trade Howell. Load up on pics.

You want to dump every team captain we have and replace them with who? Rookies?
Yes

That victory would be very immoral.

At this point, I would trade *everybody* except Howell, Dotson, Davis (these 2 being on 5 year rookie deals), and BRob (because a guy who comes back from being shot in the leg, yeah, you want him on your team). Everybody else gotta go. I'd take a 2nd for McLaurin. Heck, I'd take a 3rd. Rebuild through the draft with our new guys' guys. If we suck and/or if Howell ain't gonna be The Man, another top pick in 2025 but we keep building with guys who weren't here with Snyder.

You need both. Gibbs talked himself into Jason Campbell and made the trade 2 days before the draft. It was like Ron being in love with Forbes. He didn’t even consider how the board would play out. A legit GM would have drafted Aaron Rodgers instead of Carlos Rogers with the first pick and taken BPA with the Jason Campbell pick. Aaron Rodgers in Al Saunders offense under Gibbs with Gregg Williams D would have added a Lombardi or three to the case. You could make an argument to rename it after Gibbs at that point.Gibbs probably saw Rodgers as his "John Riggins" except that Rodgers was unproven and no way Gibbs wanted a personality like Rodgers as his rookie QB.

Gibby a great HC but his GM was just as great if not greater than he was. I give most of the credit to Bobby Beathard.
Gibby was smart enough to use John Riggins properly - as a lead runner who could block for himself. George Allen mishandled Riggo so badly Riggo told Allen to give him #60 since all he did was block. Pardee was a little better, but the number of touches other RBs got was criminal. All you have to do is watch that huge run he had against Dallas in 1979 - outrunning the secondary - to realize that the only reason to give the ball to any other RB is b/c Riggo's getting some oxygen on the sidelines.

for offense, pelvic thust is a run up the middle, a pelvic retraction is a screen play.
But it's the pelvic thrust that really drives you insane.

Sorry but playing 1 extra game for 2 seasons since 2012 isnt the reason hes compiled those stats. I agree he has little post season success, but if plays longer and esp if he does find more postseason success he’ll have a shot.
All the more reasons not to trade 1st rounders to move up for a QB.

I disagree, there isn't a team in the league we would be favored to beat right now. We are the worst team in the NFL.
And we still get to pad the win totals for 2 teams currently with fewer wins than we have.

I agree with your assessment of Howell but Kirk Cousins may end up a hall of famer when its all said and done. Hes currently top 8 in quarterback rating, top 25 in passing yards all time, and top 20 in pssing TDs. He also has the greatest comeback in NFL history. If he plays a few more years hed have a case.
He now plays a 17 game schedule, not a 16, 14, or 12 gamer. The NFL is pass-happy. He's never done anything significant in the post season and never will.

We're along for poop and giggles?

I like it, an Overkill ruleJust to be clear: I mean that the points Dallas gets at this point should go to the *other* team next week.

Offseason, trade McLaurin. He deserves a real team and we need to draft a younger player or a couple of them.
