  1. I'm not happy with Blatche's play either. He's shooting too many jumpers for my liking. However, I really don't like how our guards only look into the post when they have no other option. Saw Blatche posting up Gooden and Ilyavosa a few times last night but the guards just refused to dish it in.

McGee has impressed me with his rebounding and effort lately. He also looks good on defense. He's not playing like a headless chicken anymore. Flip calling him out may have worked. Flip called out Yi and Blatche for shooting too many jumpers as well. Let's see if that works.

By the way, nice to see the crowd give Arenas a great ovation yesterday. Gil was genuinely appreciative of it. Need more support for him rather than people hating. He's our best player and a damn good one at that.

And Morrison is a ****ing loser. God he sucks. There was one play where he got a rebound right below the basket. Instead of going straight up with it and slamming it home or at least drawing a foul, he passed to Blatche or Mcgee (I forget which one) who was like 24 inches to his right and made them do some bull**** fadeaway hookshoot. They made it but still. That's not an NBA play. It was ugly. Dude is a *****. Scared.

Everyone in the crowd wanted Morrison to shoot so badly haha. He passed over a lot of good looks to covered guys. Worse than his offense is his horrific defense. Just an awful defender.

  2. If any of you would like to attend the game today (Thursday) against the Bucks, then shoot me a PM. I have an extra set of tickets that I need get rid off. I actually bought these online but I got a hook up to better seats so I don't need these anymore. Since my hook up gave me his tickets for free, I'll give mine away for free as well. The seats are in Section 419 but it's preseason so you'll be able to sneak into the lower level with ease.

Shoot me a PM if you are interested. First person to do gets the tickets. I'll email them directly to you.

  3. I see it as him trying to be a mentor and a leader. Young had 24 points, so I can't say that I'm mad at Gilbert.

Yup, Flip had praising words for him:

“You know one thing I think everyone has to understand some … Gil, in the two years I’ve been here, has been the easiest guy I’ve had to coach. Okay? So people say, ‘Gil, Gil…’ He is receptive and he will do whatever I ask him to do from a coaching standpoint. And I’ve said that from day one,” exclaimed Saunders.

“So whatever role I give him … I think it’s more the opposite where he’ll defer more than he will try to do too much, especially with the group that we have,” the coach continued. “So I think if I ask him to score, he’ll score. If I ask him to set people up, I think he’ll try to do that. And he did that last year and he’s continued to do that through training camp this year. I think that’s one of the reasons that our younger players have been so committed to what we’re trying to do because how he’s gone about his approach to doing things too.”

I don't think a coach who hasn't been shy of trashing his own team would praise someone like that without good reason. Doesn't seem like praise for you know a "poisonous player" or someone suffering from a "mental illness".

  4. Seraphin is REALLY raw. He's a physical specimen (and this is without ever being in a proper work out program) but his game is not developed at all. But in the few minutes he's gotten so far, you can see that he just wants to bully people out there. He'll put his back to the basket and back people down with ease. He aggressively attacks rebounds and runs the floor very fluidly. But his game is just not developed at all for him to be part of an NBA rotation.

Booker hasn't impressed me. He didn't impress me in the SL and he hasn't so far in the preseason. He's really short for a PF and has no game on the offensive end to be run as an SF. He doesn't attack rebounds and he can't shoot and has no offensive game. Not liking him at all so far. Seems out of place in the NBA. He won't be able to use his speed and hops like he did in college. His best hope is to develop a 3 pt. shot so he can be used as a big defensive SF. He looks like Ron Artest but plays like Michael Ruffin (ok well not THAT bad on offense but he's a self check at this point).

  5. I've liked what I've seen from Yi so far. I think with lower expectations and a team that intends on developing young talent, Yi will be able to use his skills a lot more. It's nice to have backups that can provide scoring off the bench. Yi will be nice as a super sub backing up PF and C and occasionally at SF. Still wish we had a defensive big man but at least we'll be scoring in bunches. A change from the years when Ruffin, Booth and ET were our primary back up bigs. We might not have a the smartest or toughest roster but at least they are athletic. I'd rather have that than what we did under EJ all those years.

  6. Actually I wouldn't be surprised if they did win more the 50 games. They were a good team last year and they have brought everyone back and got rid of a terrible coach. That team is young and with youth comes progression.

Declining and complacent Joe Johnson, no starting caliber PG on the roster, discontent Jamal Crawford, new coach who wasn't qualified to run an NBA team but got hired because his salary would be low, no real center on the roster, moving Josh Smith to SF. I could go on and on. Atlanta isn't winning 50 this year.

  7. Q: What is the toughest thing about being a Cowboys fan?

A: Telling your parents that you are gay.

    **** the Cowboys

    :dallasuck

That joke was as bad as the Cowboys have been in the playoffs the past 10 years.

    **** Dallas. :dallasuck
