Yeah me too. WTF was Rampage thinking??? That was the single bloodiest fight I have ever seen, not to mention the fact that it was not entertaining at all. Team Rampage is going to get crushed this season.

I definitely will. The reason I asked that is I hope that is his goal for UFC. Eventually get enough fighters involved where you can have an event every other week. Put them on a major network on Saturday nights. I'd be willing to bet the network contract they get would be huge, eventually equaling or exceeding the $ they get from PPV. Hell it would be like major sport playoff level audiences, but all year round. I think if networks are smart they would jump on it. You know if they are getting 2 mil+ buys on PPV, the number of people watching is at least 10 million, probably significantly more. And those numbers would just increase with the fights being free to watch on a network. That is my dream, and hopefully Dana's goal.

I just texted him (feel like such weirdo lol). I told him he was doing a great job getting mma more into the mainstream, and asked if he thought at some point that they would be able to make more money with fights on networks than on ppv. Waiting for a response, but at this point he might have already switched phone #s lol.

I'm not saying he's a better fighter or that he would probably win, but seriously... Ben Henderson is a really good fighter at 155. He could turn some heads in the UFC LW division. Maybe even challenge BJ at some point.

If WEC is absorbed into the UFC, it will be a sad day for BJ Penn. Their 155 division is STACKED. Ben Henderson vs Penn would be a good fight. I'm also pretty excited about the possibility of airing a fight on a network. I think this could be the beginning of the end for UFC on PPV. It won't take long for the networks to realize that UFC cards will be a goldmine in terms of selling ads. The contracts they will give the UFC will probably end up being worth more than they get from PPV.

I agree. Anderson would have thrown down if Leites had actually come after him at all. I kept waiting for it, but in the last two rounds it was like he knew he couldn't win no matter what, and didn't want to get hurt bad trying. I was actually laughing at some of the stuff Silva was doing. He punched him in the leg while standing up lol.
