If we had paid Wentz 13 mil for a year then we could have still had a OL to protect him. Jackson was a Ron move. .

But you still run the ball there to get a manageable 3rd down instead.

Dan was so giddy that we finally have ourselves a legit QB. That should tell you something. Also kinda of hard to buy or retain players when you don't have the money.

I was pushing hard to start TH this year and since this year draft was good to pickup guys to fix the lines on both sides. This is what should have been done and we would still have drafted Howell - but no Jahan though but at least the money and picks saved from the Wentz deal would have been a lot better than what it is now. This I blame on Dan. At least by getting a new owner who is not going to meddle should help any coach make the right decisions.

Don't think I said easy. Where the team is right now and the way our D is playing it is O that needs to be fixed and you can win more games next year. You still have to do your homework and not just show up for the exam. As for keeping Ron do you really want to blame him for not picking his own QB and going for Chase instead?

If you really look at the history of this organization the only coach who lasted more than 5 years was Gruden. So yeah it would be easier to get a legit QB or if Howell is that guy. Our D is really good. We have great playmakers on offense as well. So yeah right now we are a QB away and a fortified OL and adding more to the D as well.

Sounds all great and stuff. Just replace the HC and his staff and everything will be just fine and dandy. How long will it take to setup this proper organization. Will you still have all the playmakers still on the roster by then? Terry is signed until 2025 but what about the others?

It is easy to say remove everyone. Who is out there that could come in and turn things around right away? Wouldn't be easier to figure out who the QB should be and get some bodies to protect the QB instead?

People were expecting more since we had two weeks to figure out how to stop them. Ron also said we have to fix the redzone failure as well. Nothing happened in two weeks at all. Maybe too much rest was bad for them.

The reason people are "blaming" the defense is because they allowed them to march 98 yards for a TD. Ron wasn't too happy about it in his presser. The way our offense was playing a stop during the 98 yard drive could have helped possibly win the game. Didn't people say if we lose to the Giants he is done. Now thinking more about it. Will Wentz have the proper chemistry to get Terry involved or will he try to stick with Jahan? Also these bombs he is going to throw down the field are not going to be there since our OL can't pass protect at all. Damn if you do and damn if you don't. At this point I guess you could put Wentz in and see what happens. But then again it might be too late this late in the season to get everyone on the same page with Wentz and the players around him.

Yup. Tonight was the 1st time we scored less than 17 with TH. Could have had 18 but thanks to the refs for two major blown calls.

Except for the first 2 games it was 8,10,17,12.

Putting in Wentz can't be any worse. If it is then you put Taylor back in I guess. I really didn't care for this year to begin with and then I get sucked in when it looked like we might have a shot to get to the playoffs. I said before play them both. Do whatever it takes. Just get it done no matter what since we have come so close now too. I really want to see Howell start next year. Well at least I am hoping he wins the starting job.

Well Ron did praise him a bit except for the over thrown balls though.

But isn't the ball the line of sight? Hopefully the center is not moving and jerking while players are trying to get set.

And that makes it even worse.

If you have ever hung something on a wall you would know something called line of sight. The REF standing on the sideline looking at the line has the BETTER line of sight and not Terry! So Terry trying to make sure he was on the line got the ref's blessing. The ref had no right to throw that flag when he told Terry he was good to go.

Jahan just said we talk to the refs all of the times and not sure how he wasn't on the line, saying this while shaking his head. Now are you going to say Jahan is lying too? lol

It is also hard to say they couldn't. But the refs didn't want us to even try. So there is that too.

He also confirmed it in the post game presser too.

Terry just said he was told by the ref to move up and then asked him if he was good now and the ref said he was good. And that same ref threw the flag. Ref had money on the game. He has to. No other explanation for the refs behavior.

Ron is so pissed right now. Holding his tongue back when asked about the DPI.

Why didn't Samuel jump up and down in front of the ref to let him know he was being mugged. All WR do that.
