ive been reading about potential GM candidates since October and Peters was the one i wanted the most but based on reading hes turned down interviews i thought it was a pipe dream so Cunningham moved to 1. So glad this team is run by adults instead of a petulant child

Hoping by COB we hear Peters has accepted the job and is asking Cunningham to come aboard to help restore this team to its former glory.

All the commanders interviews are done by tonight i believe. If thats the case hopefully news will start to leak tomorrow that Peters is the guy.

Just listened to keim. One thing he said that I've lived my life by in my career. Snyder always tried to prove he was the smartest man in the room where harris surrounds himself with smart people. I always say I know what I know and know what it don't. When I don't I ask the question to learn. Seems like harris does something similar. You don't need to know football to be a good owner you just need to surround yourself with people that do to be successful.

Peters is a personel guy and would be HOFO which of the other candidates that are on the list would be an ops guy so they arent stepping on each others toes? Im guessing a peters/mcclay or peters/cunningham team is out because theyre from the same side of the isle so to speak. It seems like this might be the route harris might look to go based on his statement of the gm position being an 80 hr a week job.

I keep seeing Catherine Reitche name as a possible candidate but its seems it might be a year or 2 early doesnt seem to have the exp of Cunningham Horitz or Halaby. If im Harris after that conferance id interview the top 10 that impressed you from that conference and a few other names like Halaby, horitz and whoever the other the top names at that werent at the conference. Cast a wide net and maybe you pull a pitt tomlin situation where a candidtate you didnt think has a chance impresses you and gets the gig.

As an Engineer that works for a company that both designs and does construction management on projects like this. Design could take from 1 to 2 yrs at a minimum this includes review periods for the client (harris) to review and make changes to features he wants dislikes etc. construction can take 3-4 depending on the scope
