Yeah, I was just pointing out that by coincidence the Falcons wanted Chase Young the year he was drafted but they were too far back for us to even entertain trade talks.
Sorry misread, I'm half asleep still. Ha!

I think in your scenario you were offering up too much, plus I wouldn’t want Landry. I could live with a move for Mayfield though.By coincidence, it was reported at the time of the draft that the Falcons wanted to trade up for Young but the jump was too far for that to ever be realistic.
Also on the Falcons, I think they would be mad to pass over taking Willis if he is still on the boards at #8. I could even see them moving up in the draft to take him.
Standing said he never reported this.

No ****. So what does his production have to do with what I posted?
Team stood behind sweat, your assumptions are wrong.

Wentz caused the exact same issues in Indy that has our fanbase set to move on from Sweat. Only its worse, because the QB is supposed to be a leader.
27 TD 7 INT

It's wild SIP!!
If anyone read the standing article they would know that's not what it said. I can't believe that has gained so much traction! LOL

Um...didn't the Bears offer 3 1sts + Khalil Mack for Wilson?
If that's not a blockbuster offer, I shudder to think how the Seahawks define "blockbuster"
That was last season. A lot has changed.

Ironic that some people are willing to trade 3 #1s, Payne, and Sweat for a guy who was drafted in the 3rd round. For the selling team, that's an incredible return on investment. If that trade goes through, imagine the amount of capital the Skimmanders would have given up to acquire *3* of the QBs in the 2012 draft and eventually get their "QB of the future" when they could've had him alone for just a 3rd (which we used, instead, on Josh Leribeus, spit). Think about that. Think about how the last 10 years of Washington football would've gone but for the fact that [insert epithet here]. Sickens me.
You do that deal

lol, Sheehan's segment on Wilson which he teased last night, is a bit of a tease. He's about to explain why would or wouldn't Seattle trade him, so unless he adds something new, there is nothing new from yesterday
starting to believe he made up this Russ stuff for people to listen- 1

Albert Breer wrote this today.
“As I mentioned in last week’s MAQB—keep an eye on Washington as an aggressor on the quarterback market over the next two months”

Now Sheehan torturing listeners by running a segment about which player would you aggressively make a trade for Wilson or Rodgers? 😀

Kevin Sheehan just said that Malik Willis has the highest ceiling and the lowest floor of all the qb prospects.
No surprise there. Every analyst from Kiper to PFF have essentially said that since midway through the season.
What did cause me to reevaluate my stance on Malik is what he said next. Sheehan said that he doesn't care about the floor when evaluating the qb position only the ceiling is relevant-- what could the player become if he fulfills his potential.
While that is a very risky strategy, selecting any qb has inherent risk. Regardless of how safe a selection someone appears to be nothing is certain. A rookie qb is more likely to fail to reach their potential than succeed even if they have a low ceiling.
So you might as well shoot for the moon.
Put me in the Malik Willis or bust category--- for now as in today.
Did he mention Russ? He teased news this weekend

When Joey T speaks you listen, this team is done with Taylor and drafting a QB.

There's a lot of pipe dreaming going on here. After watching the 49ers Rams game yesterday it was blatantly apparent to me that we don't have anywhere near the talent to compete with the best teams in the NCF, let alone beat Dallas. Flame me if you want but both of those teams would have mashed us worse then the cowboys did this year. QB or not, we are a ways away from competing.
Ironic your name is never surrender

Heinke will not be the starter, he may be the 3 going into next szn

Jimmy G started and beat Dallas in Dallas and GB in GB, you can argue whether he had any impact in those games, but he started and won two road playoff games.
I'm in my 30's and witnessed one playoff win.
Bring in Jimmy G he's an upgrade.

And he had almost nothing to do with their run. Just like their last SB run. 5 postseason games. 2 TDs 5 INTs. His team wins despite him not because of him.
We forgetting how he led them back down 17-0 against the rams? In a must win week 18 game
