Yeah that's a repeat of what he said on his podcast which I posted here.  I'd trust Keim over Sheehan.  Keim has been on London, too but in the last podcast, he pumped Williams and it felt like he did so in a way to hint that might be their guy if his medicals check out.

It's funny Sheehan is saying Del Rio might not like Hamilton.  I know where that is coming from which is Standig purely speculating on Sheehan;s show last week that Del Rio might not like the challenge of figuring out how to use Hamilton from game to game, but that felt like Standig just spitballing on that versus reporting.

Did you get a chance to listen to standing yet?

  2. Kevin Sheehan just now on 980

London is the number 1 WR on the board and there is significant space between 1 and 2.

They like the other guys but he’s the number 1 WR on the board.

doesn’t mean they’ll take him at 11 if he’s there, but he’s not ruling out an OL or Hamilton at 11 as well.

New Keim podcast.  As I said earlier in the draft season, as things get closer Keim tends to get more accurate.

    A.  The big change.  Jameson Williams is now in play.  Before he said he wasn't.  The key is if he checks out to them physically.  For me, he's the top Wr in this class if healthy.  If they think he can play this season than i am more than intrigued, he'd be my guy.

    B.  They do like Drake London and Olave at Wr.  Sounds like Williams would go ahead of them on their board if healthy, he didn't flat out say that but being well versed on Keim speak I'd say with confidence he strongly implied that.  But if his health checks out the thought is he won't be there at 11.

    C.  They don't expect the big three tackles to be available at 11 but if it happens that could be the pick.  They like all three.  But prefer Ekwonu and Neal over Cross.

    D.  O line strongly in play at some point in the draft.

    E.  Keim said when he picks in the ESPN draft that's done every year (on Tuesday before the draft) his confidence in getting it right is medium.  in other words, there are some moving parts that make this draft not easy for him to predict.

Thank you SIP! STANDING pod just came out, keep doing great work ;)

    Keim Podcast Nuggets:

-Possible reason for releasing Matt I- He and some of the other linemen fought against the style coaching from  Coach Mills and they wanted to break up that group and get some new faces in that would listen to Mills teaching style. The team was surprised by his agent's reaction.

    -Flowers probably overvalued himself.

    - it won't take very much for Wentz to outplay his quarterback predecessors and maybe that relieves a little bit of pressure on him that he would have had in any Indianapolis. It was also cool for Young to reach out to him.

-As far as FA, hey, will try to bring in some defensive lineman depth.

-As far as it linebacker they are interested in some players but Bobby Wagner is out there price range. Some really good inside wine doctors in this year's draft and they could really get a good starter from that. They would like to pair three young linebackers together and have them all grow together.

-They would also like to fill the buffalo nickel position but as far as the Honey Badger he is too small. That player needs to be able to play linebacker and safety. He's too small to play linebacker. Again, there are players in a draft that could possibly fill that role or if they get a speedy enough linebacker, they might not need to use that position very much

Would be tough to swallow taking a LB back to back first round picks
