  1. Brian Scalabrine, the White Mamba, plays 1-3 and dominates. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uxvOFd22Vuw
  2. Pic taken down. Not because people on here are crying about it, but because I rather show my support for the young man. And don't act like people on here aren't quick to make jokes about other teams injured athletes.
  3. I would think now would be the perfect time for Floyd to challenge Manny. I wouldn't call any boxer who steps in the ring scared, but if he comes up with another excuse not take this fight then in at least my eyes he will come off as scared. According to these so called experts in here, he's a better counter puncher then Marquez so he should have no problem beating Manny right?
  4. I'm more receptive for their opinion than some anonymous blogger behind a key board. All the boxers at the academy I train at would echo some of these statements. But fighters have respect for one another, because its violent sports and it take courage to compete. Half the guys are Floyd supporters, but they didn't trash Pac after her got dropped. Out of respect for a fellow fighter. That's why I know most of the Floyd supporters on here that are having a field day with clowning Pac never set foot in a ring and have absolutely no experience in the sport.
  5. I think the majority of Pac fans loved him because he was exciting to watch. No one every said he was unbeatable, his record could have told you that. Its funny how Mayweather fans are all of sudden boxing experts. They can make all the predictions they want, the only way to find out who would win is for them to fight. That will happen when Floyd grows some ball.
  6. Just wondering so I don't have to waste my time debating with a couch boxer who's only knowledge of the sport comes from watching it on TV.
  7. Let me ask you a serious question. Have you ever laced up a pair a of gloves and boxed before?
  8. I wouldn't say he is completely over rated. He knows a lot about the science of boxing, fundamentals of foot work, and blah blah blah.....he's just not that good at game planning for an opponent. I think they rely too much on Pac's speed and power, rather than work on him being a little more of a cerebral fighter.
  9. If you listen to Roach talk, he says Pac needs to learn how to fight a counter puncher. Uh, well you're his trainer, shouldn't you teach him? Roach also say when prepping for opponents, he looks for habits not weaknesses. I would imagine that he would have pointed out Pac's bad habit of dropping his hands when throwing combos. And that they would develop a way to defend a counter puncher. Pac's speed and power is amazing, but its like some the basic fundamentals of boxing are almost non-existent.
  10. My wife just bought that book last week. We also saw that interview on 60 minutes. If I'm not mistaken, I think he sold his family out and got them locked up. Years later he feels guilty about it. Edit: He got his mom and brother executed by snitching on them.
  11. I have yet to see Pac or Roach correct this mistake. Once Pac comes in, he's already committed. He needs to learn how to counter on top of his opponents counter. Set them up with a jab, maybe double on it, wait for their 1-2 counter then unload....rather than just charge in, throw his combo and then get clocked. That's all Marquez was doing. Let Pac throw his combos, once that left hand is launched Pac doesn't do a good job covering up for the counter, if anything there have been plenty of times that Pac will follow with that left and just stand there.
  12. I don't blame him for not standing with elite strikers. He's made his fortune fighting smart and taking advantage of his strengths. And one of his weaknesses is that he doesn't have a great chin, so why risk it. I was just stating the obvious, that GSP does not want to stand with Silva, Diaz, or Hendricks because there is a good chance that he will get caught and it will be a wrap. That being sad, I did give GSP credit for recovering from that head kick from Condit.
  13. The last thing on GSP's mind is what I want to see, so he doesn't have to be concerned about entertaining me. I said his strategy is effective and works for him, I'm saying that I'd rather see fighters stand and strike.....I guess that's just the kickboxer in me. GSP will always revert back to his strength, which is wrestling. Do I blame him, not at all. Is it exciting, not the least bit. And you're right, its fighter like BJ and Diaz that have a sick jitsu game but choose to strike instead which makes their fights exciting.
  14. Because no one wants to see him wrestle for 5 rounds (at least I don't).
  15. I must have been the only one going nuts when GSP got kicked in the head. I was hoping NBK would finish him off, but got to give GSP props for fighting his was through and recovering. That being said, I still hate the take-down-and-pound game plan but hey....its effective for him. I agree that Anderson would lay GSP out, his boxing is way better than Condits. Carlos looked apprehensive throwing those combos, and he doesn't have the head movement like Silva to slip and counter when he's exchanging punches. GSP's only chance would be his routine game plan, take the fight to the ground. Out of the 3 possible opponents for GSP, it doesn't look he'll want to stand with any of them really.
  16. I'm pretty sure someone already posted this but watching the live forecast from our local TV station and saw this. I was in tears!!! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4c04mh-F9sM That said, I hope everyone remains safe throughout the storm.
  17. Thanks guys. Here's another one, just to be fair to both parties :pfft:
  18. The Presidential Debate from last night. Someone how I don't believe this was a photoshop
  19. No they weren't. It was BLACK and YELLOW through out the entire stadium. We were completely out numbered. The Redskins where a supposed to be and easy win for the Power House Steelers, so they invaded FedEx that night.........especially since it was a MNF game. Our whole section behind the endzone was nothing but steeler fans.
  20. Actually, the Monday Nighter against the Steelers back in 08 was pretty embarrassing. They were everywhere. I couldn't believe how many terrible towels were waving in the air. Of course, this was during the Zorn experiment. I'm glad we've recovered from those tough times.
  21. Weeden overthrew the 1st receiver and got lucky. Just a testament of how sucky he was playing.
