Per ESPN:
"According to multiple reports, there was tension between quarterback Ryan Tannehill and the team's defense on Saturday during the team's walk-through in London. Tannehill, upset that his passes were intercepted by players on the scout team, said, "enjoy your practice squad paychecks," according to the reports.
According to the South Florida Sun-Sentinel, following an altercation that prompted the team's defensive players to go even harder after Tannehill, they were advised to no longer practice full speed and in protest stopped practicing completely when the quarterback took his snaps."
Sounds ugly. And slightly dickish by Tannehill.
Ugly indeed. But not slightly dickish by Tanny. Very dickish.
That report had Pro Football Hall of Fame tight end Shannon Sharpe calling out Tannehill:
Tannehill if those guys are picking you off. Imagine what's going to happen . When you play experienced dbs. Guppy problems.
Following up on Sharpe's tweet, Stallworth—a Patriots receiver in 2007 and 2012—revealed that Brady is pretty much the opposite of Tannehill:
Brady actually paid practice squad and look team guys if they picked him off in practice. http://twitter.com/ShannonSharpe/status/651374235311558657 …

Was marveling at the resemblance of the guy they have playing Ice Cube. Looked up the actor on IMDB. It's his son. Well that answers that...but can he act?

Great trailer. Love the cinematography.

I really liked the first X Men movie. In fact, the whole first trilogy.
The first one was good. The second was great. But man the third one was awful. I enjoyed First Class too, and Days of Future Past was arguably the best one. That or X2. The Quicksilver sequence alone was worth the price of admission for Future Past. And there were plenty of other great action set pieces.
The thing with the sentinels...shrug. I haven't seen it since it first came out, but I do not recall sentinels stealing powers the way Rogue does. I took it as pre-programmed "abilities" that they could call upon in different situations. Consider also that what they were doing in the future was after 50 years of development. So perhaps the first few versions just got better and better at shape shifting until the technology progressed to the point they could mimic certain abilities. Even if that is a hole, it's not bad enough to sour me on the whole movie

Gas or charcoal? A question for lesser men than these.
My favorite part of this is all the lava that starts pouring out of the tray just behind the grate, and the adjustment of the angle once the cameraman realizes it.

http://www.livescience.com/50856-spider-rain-explained.html
Millions of tiny spiders recently fell from the sky in Australia, alarming residents whose properties were suddenly covered with not only the creepy critters, but also mounds of their silky threads. But that's not where the frightful news ends: Experts say that such arachnid rains aren't as uncommon as you might think.
This month's spider downpour in the country's Southern Tablelands region is just the most recent example of a phenomenon commonly known as "spider rain" or, in some circles, "angel hair," because of the silky, hairlike threads the spiders leave behind. Ian Watson, who lives in the region affected by the spooky shower, took to Facebook to describe what this strange "weather" looks like, according to the Goulburn Post.
"Anyone else experiencing this "Angel Hair" or maybe aka millions of spiders falling from the sky right now? I'm 10 minutes out of town, and you can clearly see hundreds of little spiders floating along with their webs and my home is covered in them. Someone call a scientist!” Watson wrote on the Goulburn Community Forum Facebook page.

I would also like to see some video from the opposite angle. Reactions of fans who could see what happened.

An aide to state Atty. Gen. Kamala D. Harris and two others are accused of operating a rogue police force that claimed to exist for more than 3,000 years and have jurisdiction in 33 states and Mexico, authorities said Tuesday.
Kiel, 31, has worked as the deputy director of community affairs at the California Department of Justice. An office spokesman declined to comment on the criminal investigation but said Kiel is on administrative leave.
Suspicions about the Masonic Fraternal Police Department -- whose members trace their origins to the Knights Templar -- were aroused when various police chiefs in Southern California received a letter in late January that announced new leadership for the group, sheriff’s officials said.
After the letters were mailed, a man claiming to be Kiel and describing himself as the police force’s “chief deputy director” called various law enforcement agencies to schedule in-person meetings, sheriff’s officials said.
Sheriff’s Capt. Roosevelt Johnson, who heads the department’s Santa Clarita Valley station, met with members of the group and became wary after they could not provide rudimentary information about the group’s aims, the officials said.
pro tip: when running a secret police force, don't alert the real cops to your existence.
AND...don't put your name and picture on the internet. http://masonicfraternalpolicedepartment.org/
Plenty of gold on that site too:
The Masonic Fraternal Organization is the oldest and most respected organization in the “World.” Grand Masters around the various states are facing serious safety concerns for their Jurisdictions and their family members. The first Police Department was created by the "Knights Templar's" back in 1100 B.C.1 - Why is the word world in quotation marks?
2 - I'm pretty sure the Knights Templar were not around in 1100 B.C. Seeing as how they were a Christian order and all...

Nice, thanks for posting. I've completely written off and checked out on Depp after the first Pirates movie, his career was going down the tubes.
This looks pretty good and reminds me of some of his earlier grittier stuff like Blow and Donnie Brasco. I can get behind this
Exactly what I was thinking. Great trailer.

Leaked Batman/Superman trailer. Can't embed this format though. Subtitled in Portuguese (I think?), and the quality isn't stellar. But it's there...

I'm pretty sure there's an extremely important comma missing from the last paragraph, which should read "photos, including photos of her and her current boyfriend having sex, with her 16-year-old daughter."
Not "photos, including photos of her and her current boyfriend having sex with her 16-year-old daughter."
Incredibly important comma
Then again, with everything else in that story, I'm not so sure they had it wrong...

...
The sponsor told investigators that she was recently asked to help Lenhardt, so she asked her over for coffee on April 10 to talk about Lenhardt’s plans for sobriety and such.
Lenhardt informed her she was four days sober since April 6 when she lost custody of her five children ages 4, 6, 8, 10 and 16. Lenhardt told her that an emergency hearing was conducted this month when her kids were taken away from her due to an incident that occurred at her house.
According to a sheriff’s report, Lenhardt gave her sponsor this account of the party:
Her kids were with their father one night when her 16-year-old daughter texted her and asked if her and some friends could come over “to party.” Lenhardt replied “come on, let`s party.” Lenhardt allowed her teen daughter and her friends to smoke marijuana and drink her alcohol in her home. The group of minors and her played naked Twister in the living room.
Lenhardt had sex with an 18 year old in the bathroom while the others continued to play Twister. Lenhardt told her sponsor she was still “horny” afterward so she brought her sex toys out in the living room and began to use them on herself in front of the group.
The group and Lenhardt then got in her hot tub naked where the party continued. Lenhardt said she was asleep in her bed and woke up around 3:30 a.m. when she felt someone having sex with her. She thought it was the 18-year-old but realized it was her daughter’s 16-year-old boyfriend. The daughter later told her mother that she felt guilty because the boyfriend’s 10-inch penis was too large for her and he needed to have sex instead with the mother.
Lenhardt also told her sponsor that she had shared pornographic photos, including photos of her and her current boyfriend having sex with her 16-year-old daughter.

I think that time and time again most people have shown they don't care about the events beforehand...only the police abuse of power after those events
How much should we care about the events beforehand? <not sarcastic>
The linked article doesn't say anything about him hurting other cops. But let's assume for the sake of argument he killed two in cold blood. In that type of situation, about the worst imaginable, how much leeway do we give cops to continue beating a guy who's handcuffed and in custody, not resisting and maybe unconscious?
I'm not going to go crazy over an unnecessary shot or two (or three or four...). That guy got 2+ minutes of non-stop kicks, punches and nightsticks to the head and groin, mostly from like 4-5 guys simultaneously

I thought the first one was pretty cool, even had the N64 video game. The 2nd one kind of lost me and I never went back. Maybe I need to check them out again.
2 was the worst one. 4 was probably the best.
