  1. 1.) Osama Bin Laden 2.) Adolf Hitler 3.) Fairweather Laker, Cowboy, Yankee, Sox fans. Pictures of Verizon Center are making me physically sick Those MVP chants :puke:
  2. What else do we have to talk about? Flip and EG getting fired? Wall being a bust? Blatche and Rashard's leadership? This draft is unprecedented in its depth. Frankly it's the only positive thing the Wizards have going for them. I agree about Rubio. When I heard we had traded our pick to the Wolves, you'd think we would be getting a couple nice prospects, but we got Mike Miller and Randy Foye, two reserve players. Grunfeld got Cerrato-ed....by David ****ing Kahn.
  3. He looks more confident this year, but could still end up being Anthony Randolph 2.0. Too much of a gamble for what this team needs. We already used a crapshoot pick on Vesely
  4. You never know with these Basketball Factories like Kentucky and Uconn. It'll probably hinge on whether Calhoun retires. I'd be cool with Jeremy Lamb too tho... he reminds me of a more athletic Rip Hamilton
  5. Andre Drummond lacks outside touch, but I really think he could be the Stoudemire to Wall's Nash.
  6. Look where he is on this list. To me that makes it so much more infuriating and out of principle, I wouldn't send him home but Haynesworth him by banishing him from the active roster. http://www.forbes.com/pictures/eddf45fgjl/the-nbas-highest-paid-players/#content
  7. didn't KG nail Channing Frye in the nuts a season or two ago? That Javale/JWall video had me from six to midnight.
  8. Does the FO view Jan as a SF or a PF? I'd guess SF. No way can he guard a Bosh, Amare or any other NBA PF for that matter. I guess Vesely is house $ and you take the best player available that isn't a PG. Sullinger looks like he's lost weight and has gained some explosiveness, which is interesting. I never thought he would be a great fit alongside Wall due to his lack of athleticism. Based on the team we seem to be setting up, I'd go with a full court player, like Andre Drummond. Wall to Drummond could be a more athletic Nash to Stoudemire. I also like Lamb from Uconn. We need shooters and he's athletic enough to run with Wall.
  9. Last night's game with Kidd-Gilchrist, Jones, and Davis gave me a chance to eyeball each player for an extended period of time. I loved Gilchrist's effort and defense and Anthony davis has a crazy unibrow
  10. D-day and the redskins winning a superbowl shouldn't be mentioned in the same breath. I hope that was sarcasm
  11. Yi isn't gonna be back, is he? Add one more draft with a high draft pick and this is going to be a homegrown contender, the antithesis to the Miami Cheat. Since it's the offseason, I've started to look ahead to the '12 draft. What are the prospects we should be looking at? I see this draft is heavy on forwards, both SF and PF. Does our selection of Vesely rule out picking up a Barnes or Gilchrist? Also, Imagine this lineup: Wall Young Vesely Perry Jones Javale McGee I don't think I've ever seen a more athletic lineup, especially the front court.
  12. Rome wasn't built in a day fellas: 2012 Mock 1 Minnesota Anthony Davis 2 Cleveland Harrison Barnes 3 Toronto James McAdoo 4 Washington Perry Jones 5 Sacramento Quincy Miller 6 New Jersey Jared Sullinger 7 Detroit Jeremy Lamb 8 LA Clippers Marquis Teague 9 Charlotte Myck Kabongo 10 Milwaukee Brad Beal 11 Golden St. Austin Rivers 6-4 12 Utah Michael Gilchrist 13 Phoenix Adonis Thomas 14 Houston Terrence Jones. Next year, we grab our SG/Scorer, as the draft is so much deeper than this years. Combine that will the development of our young guys and the future is bright ---------- Post added June-24th-2011 at 12:06 PM ---------- My early favorite is Michael Gilchrist. I think that's a realistic pick and would fit with this up tempo Phoenix suns style of play.
  13. We need a shooter. Plain and simple. Our Lineup projects as Wall/Crawford Young/Crawford Lewis/Vesely/Booker Blache/Booker/Vesely McGee/Seraphim
  14. Are you an NBA scout? None of us have a clue how this guy is going to project. With the pick we had, this is making the best of a bad situation. He complements J Wall perfectly. I'm not excited, but I'm willing to sit on my hands, because I (just like you) am not involved in the NBA scouting or decision making process and it would be foolish to pretend like I really know what I am talking about
  15. I'm glad Utah got ****ed by not taking a PG. Jimmer, Kemba and Knight off the board
  16. Agreed. He's gonna be a stud and I don't really care if he can't play here next year. He's got soo much potential
  17. Like Christmas morning. I have a gut feeling this draft is going to be very unpredictable. ---------- Post added June-23rd-2011 at 07:21 PM ---------- That could possibly mean Brandon Knight will be available. Do we entertain trades?
  18. per ESPN - cavs expected to take Valanciunas with the 4th. Kanter MIGHT just fall to us. That would be great, without having to give up 18
  19. my final mock: 6. Thompson 18. Hamilton 34. Parsons/BPA. Say no to Jan. I'd be cool with the above mentioned 3 way trade to get the third, as long as McGee isn't sacrificed. I'm coming around to a backcourt of Kanter at 4 and McGee at 5.
  20. What do you think of the 6 and 18 for 3 with the Jazz? I've been hearing that on the radio. That pretty much guarantees us either Kanter or Williams and puts a lot of pressure on Kahn and the Twolves
