I do agree with you in general but Klinsman helped rejuvenate the German side and they nearly won the cup, he gets credit for getting that German side back on track.

Klinsman was right when he said many don't understand soccer, this guy was a world class player, he has won every major club and international championship as a player so he understands what's needed to take that next step. Exchanging him for Arena makes me want to puke, to me we have nothing to look forward to until 2022.

I wonder why they would fire Klinsman mid cycle, I understand we are underperforming but we are in transition and have very young players, Clint has been a rock and he's out now with the heart problems. We lack talent in the midfield and I don't care who you put in there we will have issues. We went back to back group stage in the WC and came out of the group of death, also had a very good showing in the Copa. I think this is a bad move. I wish Mourinho didn't just sign his deal, by listening to things he has said about the U.S. and knowing how he loves a challenge I think he might actually give us a look for the right price if he was available. I know, I'm dreaming.

I agree, the talent is there to do anything he wants, I wonder if he just doesn't want to take the hits in a contract year.

I'm not so high on Desean anymore, I feel like he just wants to run long routes and catch the 20 yarders all day. If you look at other smaller receivers they really work to get open, if the long pass is not there they show themselves and make sure they catch the 5 yard pass and then take it 15 to 20 yards. Antonio Brown is a great example, he always finds a way to get the ball whether its short, medium, or long passes. Desean is a playmaker but he can only make certain plays.
