America - can we eat cake for breakfast?

Rest of the World - no!!

America - what if we call it a muffin?

At which point we realized we didn't care about what the rest of the world thought, called in "coffee cake," since coffee is for breakfast, storming goddamned Omaha Beach at Normandy, and being Back-to-Back World War Champions. Murica. **** yeah.

Because even with his struggles last year and again this spring, he's still here. That stinks of a coach thinking his can still make a player better because the other option along with Corbin makes it looking like he can't fix or develop pitchers.

Seems bizarre that Williams wasn't an easy decision to move on from. He's not young, he's not a project, he's not improving. Some guys get more chances than they deserve. Reminds me of when Davey Johnson wouldn't let go of the idea Henry Rodriguez. Guy threw over 100 but never a strike and kept getting chances when it was beyond clear.

Williams sucks, through and through. He is a warm body, easily tossed into the bullpen or the trash heap when Rutledge demonstrates whatever he needs to demonstrate at Rochester, Cavalli comes back. I'll be very happy when he's no longer on the roster

Guess they want him working on something in the miners still.

I hope the miners don't mind...not sure they like people trying things in them.

I'd rather Rutledge work on whatever here over Williams who through the spring has been the same liability he was last year.

Williams sucks, but I'd rather Rutledge fix what he needs to fix where he can fix them. Williams is not long for this rotation, I don't think

Wow man, no love for Camden?  Where are my DMV Gen X Orioles and Commanders fans?  We grew up in a world before the Nats and Ravens lol.

Grew up in G-burg/NoPo, went to school in Baltimore. Never an O's fan.

  5. Things I've heard on the Junkies:

"Daniels will invigorate this fanbase" My thought: Who cares? Winning will do far more.

"Daniels can make plays off schedule...and you don't want our QB getting hurt behind that line, so he needs that." This from a Caller who has no idea what he's talking about.

"Daniels has the higher ceiling." Um. No, he doesn't. Maye is the #2 prospect (weighted by positional value) for a reason. His size, arm, ceiling is far higher as a quarterback.

I feel like people are going to be very disappointed by Drake Maye.

Is it just me or are we going for the oldest aged roster in 2024 or maybe some cheep name recognition signings scheme to sell tickets. All these guys we have signed seem to have already reached their ceiling.

I wouldn’t say Armstrong, Luvu, Allegretti have hit their peak yet. Armstrong was just a rotational player. Biadasz Is 27? He’s a well regarded center. Chinn is still 26 and was injured I believe. Meanwhile the older guys we signed are one year deals and Eckeler is a great bounce back candidate. I’d also say only Wagner and Eckler are recognizable immediately.

We also have 6 picks in the top 100. We won’t be near the oldest roster.
