Cool. Thanks. Yeah, I'm getting the mesh too. Been going hard trying to get everything done that I might have to do if a hurricane hit in the next month. Been pretty stressful.

You’ll do great, and yeah, where you live, hurricane prep is a very good idea before the surgery as you will be down for a bit. Hang in there big guy & try not to stress out too much. On a side note, love what you do for animals.  Wife and I are adopting another rescue kitten (#5), an adorable snowshoe lynx point tabby kitten next week :) Love our fur children!

    Its umbilical.

I’ve had umbilical hernia (gangrenous as defined by Dr) and it was not bad. In my instance I did have to stay overnight in the hospital due to the infectious nature of my hernia. They wanted to be sure that was under control. The surgery itself was not bad at all though. They ended up using a wire mesh though because it was a large area.  Had pain for about 3-4 days and then followed orders on no lifting ect for about 6 weeks. All is well now with no reoccurrence. This was about 5 years ago.

All that's fine and dandy, but this is the wrong thread for that.  There is a Dan related thread...

My opinion, let's try to keep Dan out of the training camp thread, unless he shows up and starts taking 3rd team reps at LB, which I believe is still a team need.  Maybe he's so short on cash, he will need to call his own number to fill in.  He is a little undersized, though....  So when that happens, I'd be happy to discuss him in the Training Camp thread.

Apologies. A moment in time. Won’t happen again.

  4. Dan has created a running joke to all media in every way imaginable. It’s just ****ing sad to be honest.  He, and basically he alone, has single handily destroyed a storied and revered franchise. He should sell us out of mercy and just fade away into wealthland.  Frankly, he was just a lucky SOB in the right time, with enough capital, to get into a hot market, sell, and profit enough to buy a NFL Franchise. He has failed at every other single business venture. He is basically bad, at everything, but just got lucky once.  How I rue the day that he had the means to buy us. I just don’t see us ever getting out from under his dark cloud, ever. He is the reason I really don’t give a **** now.  Dark days indeed. I detest him to his core. Sorry for the rant. **** you Dan Snyder.

Has Percy Butler been mentioned at all, I don’t feel that great about McCain

Don’t feel great about McCain either, but he did play better towards the end of the year. Hope to hear a mention of Percy soon as, eventually, we may need him. The jump from college FB to the NFL cannot be overstated, and can take time. Guess we’ll see, and hope he “gets it”.

I saw your answer, but you did it in a way where you had to insult me for not being an internet forum addict like your frail ass.  Try to type like you'd talk to people in real life.  Cuz thems fighting words.

It’s all good, or sometimes bad, with this godforsaken team. Yeah, the “A New Start! (the Reboot) The Front Office, Ownership, & Coaching Staff Thread” is probably the best bashing thread. PLEASE bash away, and you will probably be very popular, with me at least. We don’t need fighting as we eat our own here. Hope for the best, and please, at every opportunity, bash Sir Snyder. HTTC…damn, miss HTTR, but it is what it is. Hail

If Gibson is down to 210 then 15 lbs is a big difference. I train Pro Athletes for muscle mass and body composition and though 5 lbs of lean muscle is quiet a bit more, the chance lean mass is reflected in difference of body weight is likely 25-30% muscle.

Gibson was a hybrid in college, that's why they drafted him. He has spent the last two years training and playing as a NFL Pro RB#1. The argument about 'conditioning' doesn't work.

Robinson, as much as you might want him to be agile, just isn't. He runs to high and that's a short yardage RB. Everyone likes him aggressively delivering blows while picking up some yards, short yardage 1st downs and goal line TDs. However, he's never rushing for 1,000 yards as he's simply not that guy.

AG's job is safe! He's just going to be utilized better for what he does well and JD & Robinson can do what he doesn't.

Imho Robinson, in all the film I’ve watched, is more RB agile than Gibson. He is a pure RB, not converted, and there is a huge difference. This sets the plate nicely for us and we can use Gibson as a weapon instead of forcing a RB fit. He can have more dynamic plays, and remember, he was a receiver first.  Excited to see how it evolves. With the addition of Wentz, drafting Dotson, Robinson, Cole Turner (yes, I feel he is a difference maker), a healthy Curtis Samuel…well, it could be quite spicy.  I like it, very much. Hail

If you post something nice about the Eagles 3 times, Franklin arrives and nicely reminds you the Eagles ae a better team.

On game day with the Commanders & Eagles, who are you pulling for?  Just curious.  I judge not as you are a good soul and a credit to our board.

Saw something about a kangaroo court….can someone please explain to me (without the sarcasm or jokes, please) what a kangaroo court is?

It’s the idea of justice jumping over (kangaroo) or intentionally ignoring evidence basically.

Lol you act like good guys are gonna fall to us.  We're gonna pick a head scratcher here in a few, don't worry.

Like, ummmm, Terry McLaurin?  Monte Coleman? Joe Jacoby?  Give our reach a chance 😆

  11. He was just a baby and such a sad event.  Life can be so unpredictable so enjoy every day fully.  I wonder why he was on an off ramp on foot?  Jogging perhaps, but seems like a bad place to be doing that.  Prayers for his family and rest in piece.

I have another equally sobering thought:

Why weren't more people here today joyfully posting on the forum?

This is what we've all been supposedly hoping for for years. Yet our enthusiasm,  accept for a brief burst of activity for a few hours after the news first broke, has been muted at best.

It's as if we're holding back because part of us remains fearful that this will end up being just the latest in a seemingly endless series of soul shattering defeats.

For all my bluster I know that I am no different. The fear is there deep inside me all the same.

Is this what three decades of Snyder's vile presence has turned our fanbase into?

A near ghost town with a few hearty old souls sitting at an otherwise empty saloon sipping weak rye while reminiscing on the good old days as a coyote howls at a fading moon...

The melancholy only broken by the occasional random tumbleweed rolling aimlessly through the wind.

Well done and stated sir, well done.

Anybody could have predicted it before the season when he publicly refused to get vaccinated. This was the exact scenario many feared, with a huge outbreak among the team for critical games. Awful. Stupid. Selfish. If Sweat was indeed the source of this outbreak, I wouldn’t mind trading him in the offseason. His contract and our DL depth likely makes his departure inevitable anyway.

Yep. This. Get a good pick please. This is just…stupid & everything else you mentioned.

  14. I dunno what’s going to happen but this is going to be one crazy ****ing game!  Can’t wait!   The entertainment factor is crazy. We need to fly our ****ing benches to DallASS in 2 weeks, ESPECIALLY if we win. The rivalry has been rekindled. It’s actually fun, which in basic terms, what this whole thing is about. Like him or not, Jerry Jones is a goddamn genius. He drives revenue for the league & knows what buttons to push. ****er, but damn good.

WOW! Dallas seriously flew their OWN benches out to our stadium for today’s game......**** that classless piece of **** team.

(also before anyone decides to blame washington for this, NO. This isn’t their fault. It’s an NFL rule that opposing teams control their own sideline)

Only Jerry. They are hilarious. They focus on the wrong stuff, which is typical. Dumbasses.

  16. Dallas is not as good offensively as people think (see above post).  The beat a NO team last game that threw 4-5 interceptions, with a gadget player playing QB (game was actually close if you watched) and have lost 3 of their last 5. They have not played that well recently truthfully. Their picks for today and by the pundits are purely media driven and most slurp it all up. We have won our last 4 against a much higher level of competition (beat TWO teams the Cows lost to) than the Cows have faced. Unlike DGF, I absolutely see it. The Cows are simply not that good. Play physical and own their soul.  Grind their ass down and pound them. Our D will be the key. 27-17 WFT.

No JD hurts a lot, also I don't care about Samuel. The guy has been a non factor this entire season.

Maybe, hopefully you will today.  He can explode on any given day, when right. Feed him & you will see.
