Is there something funky with his known measurables? At his size, I didn’t expect him to be described this way at 4.55 with no burst evident in his jumps and over a 7.0 3-cone.

It was held in basically monsoon type conditions and the ground was rain soaked.  They honestly should have moved it indoors or rescheduled.  Throw that 40 time out the window.

  2. I have going through the checking out process for the last few years and really don’t care other than a cursory check in once in a while. Stopped posting on here and just check in once in a while. I really can’t become a fan of another team so I have become less interested in the NFL across the board. I am in my 60’s and flatly refuse to let this stupid team ruin my week ever again. It is flabbergasting what Dan has done to my once beloved team.  He should, as a supposed fan, sell the team out of mercy.  Anyway, this really isn’t my team anymore so if he runs it into the ground so be it. I truly don’t care.

  3. I have really disengaged & distanced my self from the team.  I changed the channel before halftime and watch the Bills vs Dolphins & checked out other games.  This team still matters to me, but I refuse to be emotionally involved with them anymore.  I so wish I could be a rabid fan again, but that has left me over the last few years. It just a Groundhog repeat, year after year, except DS has taken us to depths & places I really don't want to be associated with.  He makes it so much worse in every respect.  The thrill is gone, and at my age, I don't see a magical return to caring, or our relevance.  It's too bad because we do have some nice kids playing for us now, here and there, and it's a shame the majority of their careers will be spend playing for this mess of an owner and team.  I don't ever even consider posting in the insomniac or game day threads because I, frankly, don't care that much.  The days of them ruining my day, or week, are looooong gone, and I am happier for it.  I suppose, if a way, it is good riddance as I don't even care.  Apathy is worse than love or hate, and that is really where I am now.

    Keim in his podcast said

    A.  They've checked in on some of the marquee names that fans bring up as to whose left in FA.

    B.  Some want too much money.  Keim said he heard Suh wants 8 million a year

    C.  Most holding out for ideal situations and don't see this place as an attractive place to play.

In short, he gives the vibe that they have to pay more than other teams to talk some of these FAs to come here

The bottom statement is sad, but absolutely true.  Can't blame a FA prospect for staying away, at this point.  We need to win to flip the script.  Darkness prevails over this team, unfortunately.

Very frustrating to watch Dallas sign a USFL guy who looks like Tyreek Hill Jr, making guys look silly and using his blazing speed for punt return and kick return touchdowns. Meanwhile, our returners look slow, unathletic, and barely make it to the 20 yard line 😡😡😡

He played at TCU and had BIG legal problems. Assault & stuff like that. At least 2 counts. Was kicked off of TCU’s team.  He not a good guy & all teams steered clear of him. He fits the Cows model perfectly. RR would not touch a guy like that, and I salute that honesty. I’m an old guy (60+) and things like that matter to me.  That’s an issue I have with the Commander’s and our owner. Don’t want to go down that rabbit hole on this thread. Anyway, lived in Texas (DFW) during that time & he’s trouble, somewhere down the line, at some point.

I think this is a really big year for Holcomb.  He actually is VERY athletic, can run, and is strong. And the mullet adds to quickness and aerodynamics.

Washington Football: Holcomb's mullet is the star of training camp

He was a 5th round pick who is a good starter.  Can he call the defense? He needs to react a bit faster is the criticism I've heard from some of the reporters.  He needs to see something and just go.  Sometime he hesitates a bit.

Davis is an athletic freak.  He might be able to grow into the role of calling the defense.  Expecting him to do that in his rookie or second year when he played <10 games in college was silly.  Maybe in year 3 or 4 he develops into that.  Maybe not.  But he is a freak athlete.

I had to change my like to a laugh due to the mullet inclusion. The mullet and aerodynamics go hand-in-hand methinks. Nice breakdown 🤣

Thanks brother. After about 500 dogs in 8 years, I'm retired from rescue until I can fix my own ****ed up life. Also, first time in 8 years that I've had less than 12 dogs (generally around 20, only 3 now) andit's weird. That's why I'm getting the surgery. Next up, pulling some broken screws out of my ankle. Turned 49 a couple weeks ago and want to be killing it at 50.

Just turned 61 this month & going to see orthopedic surgeon on this coming Tuesday.  Have had 4 knee surgeries, (2 on each knee already-sports related) and was told 13 years ago that the next move will be knee replacement for me. Tweaked my left knee last Saturday and basically, knees gone. Can’t wait to see surgeon to get the ball rolling. I’d like to be killing it again, but at this point just want to be fully ambulatory again. Pain has been a part of my daily existence for over a decade & ready to address that and get back to living fully again.  For you, heal up and start killing it!  I will try to do the same, in a more modest way, on my end.  Best of luck to us both!  🍻
