Be careful, that Location Guard can come back to bite ya, like some accounts like social media that have strict login procedures, when they see it looks like you're logging in from DC or any other location than normal, may lock you out of your account.

And depending on the account, it can potentially be quite a pain, getting back into it.

You are exactly right. The best thing (I always did this when I used it) is to only change your fixed location when using Locast & then revert to normal as soon as done. I found that out by not changing to actual location & running into some issues like you mentioned. Great catch & tip.

    I had mixed results.

The first game I did it, I had uninterrupted service.

The next game, it interrupted me about every 15 minutes.

It sounds like maybe the first time you use it, they might allow you try it a while without the interruptions. Just a guess.

I even tried to over-ride it, by manually disconnecting during each commercial break, so as to 'restart' the 15 minute period, and try to avoid interruptions during game play.

But that didn't help. I supposed I'll use the final preseason game for Locast, much like the coaches do ; a little more experimentation to try to get the broadcast right, before the real games start.

Did you do the "donation" for $5-6?  IF you do that you will have an uninterrupted broadcast.  A little tidbit that is important.

Respect is Earned. None of this matters until we come out and grab the division by the throat. Until then we will be slept on. Just the way it goes in the NFL..

Totally agree with this, but the Cows are an exception.  Not seeing where respect has been earned by them, but yet always (every single year) given.  I know why, $$$$$.

I can understand why Dallas would be optimistic. We are optimistic about our team, so why shouldn’t they.

Agreed, but every reporter (for them) and their multitude of fans come off as ****y, condescending, smug, and arrogant.  There is a difference between that and optimism.

How the heck is Dallas ranked the fifth best team in the league?

    Seriously?

Even if they are just talking about Defense, it's ridiculous they have dallas' defense ranked above ours.

ESPN doing their usual slobbering over the cowboys.

It is simply for clicks. Click after click after click by the Cows zombie horde.

This might be a dumb question, but if you're outside of DC and use Locast for a regular season game, do you get the "local announcers", or the ones that are like "leaguewide NFL-assigned" ?

You will get the broadcast they show in DC.  For regular season it is the broadcasters assigned by the respective broadcast affiliate.  For preseason I'm not sure, but would think local.  I think the best marriage would be a local radio broadcast synced with the video but haven't tried it.

Urban Meyer gives off Steve Spurrier vibes.

Yeah, he has much adjusting to do in the NFL game.  He appears to be a bit overmatched right now. How much of that is coaching or simply bad players I’m not sure. Right now though it looks like it is going to be a rough year for the Jags.

The Cowboys are married to Jaylon Smith for whatever reason, the guy has lost all explosiveness and has no lateral quickness but they keep putting him out on the field. Their decision to play him and not get legitimate defensive tackles will be why their defense is still not good.

I watched the entire Dallas and Texans game and while Parsons flashes a bit, he isn't asked to do anything particularly complicated. If we asked Jamin to rush the QB all the time, I'm sure he'd show more flashes too. Parsons kind of reminds me of Arrington in some ways, he has his limitations in what he can do against the pass.

I watched the entire game as well & agree.  We are using Jamin totally differently than Parsons is being used.  Each team has a defensive philosophy and are using them to that end it appears.  In watching the Cows, Parsons is ultized as the/a feature player on their defense, whereas Jamin is a piece of ours if that makes sense.  It is just what it looks like to my eye.  We have more than a few feature players on our defensive roster, not just one.  It makes Parsons stand out for them.  Proof in point by Baldy today.

Davis will be a good one.

What we are lacking in another quality vet LB alongside him. I could see us adding one to the roster before week 1.

I would like another quality addition as well. We will just have to see who becomes available, and if they are indeed an improvement. A stellar LB would take us over the top. I very much want this.

Agree.  This roster is arguably the most loaded since the glory years.  Too bad we got a killer schedule this season.

As an ex-college athlete, I always wanted to play the best competition any time possible. Perhaps that bleeds over into my psyche as I actually really like that. Love it in fact. Heat hardens steel. We will damn sure know where we are at after this year and truly know areas of focus going forward. It’s going to be a wild ride & can’t wait.  I love the fact our schedule is hard. True validation or/and know what direction we need to go in the future. Good times. Hail

Mandela effect.  Does the fruit of the loom logo have a cornucopia in it?

"Fruit of the Loom, founded in 1851, is an American maker of underwear and other sorts of clothing. A red apple, leaves, green grapes, currants, and purple grapes are depicted in their logo. However, many people recall the emblem having a famous cornucopia (horn of abundance) behind the fruits, which was never present."

I can buy this, but the fact that he is average is just another argument that he should face challengers. I don't even mind if the tie goes to Hopkins, but he should be outdueling someone because he isn't at that level (like Tress Way) where it doesn't make sense to bring in another leg.

We must be cognizant of the delicate balance and psychological aspects of a kicker. I wish there was a Dick Butkus available as a kicker. That would rock!
