Wall's back had to have acted up in that 4th quarter, no other way to explain his absence. Two wins in a row fellas, lets hope we can keep the momentum rolling on Friday. Even more impressive when you consider that we're missing three key pieces due to injury. Once we get Ariza and Harrington back our second unit will look better. Obviously we're not going to beat a lot of teams when we have Jan and Booker as our two big men in the second unit. And hell maybe some day we'll actually get to see Otto Porter... I don't mind seeing Jan getting this playing time, if he's out there with some scorers he's a valuable energy guy who can create extra offensive possessions. Unfortunately due to the injuries we're just not very deep right now and really lack scorers on the second unit. Sure would be nice if Seraphin hadn't regressed terribly over the last season or two.

Jan having the game of his life so far. ^^^was just going to post complaining about Temple. We originally signed him to a 10 day contract out of the D League correct? Then not only extended the 10 day contract for the rest of the season but for the following year. Watching him have to take wide open jumpers is painful.

If anything this game just reemphasized to me how bad of a coach Randy is. Needed more from Wall early in the game. I expect Beal to have mediocre games from time to time, he is still young and developing. We need to have Wall consistently great every game. Nene also frustrated me tonight, he dropped multiple passes in the lane that could have turned into points. Is Gortat known for being a big fouler? 5 in like 15 minutes isn't going to cut it. Also pretty confused on Seraphin's lack of minutes, I'd rather see him play more than Booker personally. The refs also sucked tonight.

Funny you say that, first time I heard Martell speak was about a month ago and i immediately texted my buddy who's also a huge Wiz fan. I agree with you, it's no exaggeration, he's one of most intelligent sounding NBA players I've heard interviewed. This teams basketball IQ has increased dramatically in the last 2 seasons.

Wow last night's game was so refreshing, legit been waiting the whole season to see us play like that. The more I see of Beal/the better he plays, the more I realize the comparisons to Ray Allens were just wrong. He can attack the basket a lot better than I thought he would and his jumper is not as good as I was expecting. Very pleased with the way he's been playing the last few games. Just great to see John back on the court, not sure what to think about his jumper last night. He seemed confident in it and made the one but the other 2 he shot were sketchy. And ^^^, yes Jan is just pathetic out there. It's obvious the only thing he can do is catch alley oops, but wait he didn't convert either of them last night. Now that Booker is back I'm hoping we don't see Vesely anymore. Still not sure why he's getting PT over Chris Singleton. As far as Crawford, I'm still interested in seeing him play the role he was meant to when this team was put together, a very streaky/dangerous scorer off the bench who doesn't get a lot of minutes. I think he is well fit for this role, similar to Jamal Crawford. He definitely should not be a starter on this team anymore considering how well Beal is playing.

lol this season is just getting worse and worse. The team is bound to implode if Wall doesn't get back soon. The more time he misses the more sick I feel. We need Wall back very soon, he has to be getting frustrated with this organization and at this rate will not be returning once his rookie contract runs out. By far the best quote from Ted: Yes it's stunning to us as well that even with half of our damn team injured, Nene still can only play 20 minutes. Truly stunning that we traded our 2nd biggest asset for damaged goods. Edit: after rereading I really can't believe the owner of our team blogs this BS. It's embarrassing honestly. Are we really supposed to be satisfied with him providing us with 20 minutes per game? Sure he plays his heart out for his 20 minutes or so per game, but Ted the game is 48 minutes! For the record this post is not bashing Nene for playing 20 minutes, it's bashing Ted for posting this ****.

Holy **** we beat the Heat. Seraphin looked much better last night, he needs to keep it up this time. Nene is obviously not 100% but having him out there still helps the team so much. He really is a great passer from the post. I like that Okafor's minutes have been decreasing recently, the lineup with both Nene and Seraphin on the floor is one of my favorites. Singleton played well yesterday, he needs to work on his free throw shooting, he's gotten to the line fairly often this season and has missed some big ones. His jumper does look much improved from last season. I think Price was a very solid pickup this off-season, he'll be a very good back up PG once we get Wall back. Jan again doesn't even see the floor, looks like Whitman is losing patience with him. Which is fine with me.
