Zero expectations for him. He was awful. We should have drafted the Minny WR. Cooley's film breakdowns were not kind either.
He was injured. When he was healthy he looked decent. Specifically when our starting qb wouldn’t even look further than 5 yards -
Can we just let AGG have a shot at developing? Don’t need to make anymore big signings in FA right now. Focus on the draft.

Corey Davis : 3/37.5
All things considered, it’s not a bad contract.

you know who's not a bad 2nd TE option, and we cut him last year....Richard Rodgers. He had a good season fililng in for Ertz as the 2nd TE to Dallas Goedert....I like Hollister better but Rodgers can get open and catch the ball when needed.
Noooooooooooo

Say what you want about Bill, but his team was 7-9 last year with a lot of injuries and covid hold outs. He’s built a ball control team with multiple two-way TEs. They won’t be a push over.

Fitz was realistically the best choice for us at this time. Gives us options going forward without relying on a miracle, and a mildly attractive market for any free agents still available. I’m happy with this move.
If we are able to bring in Henry, we have a real shot at building a viable offense while we work on finding a qb of the future

I just don’t believe in spending big money on receivers, unless they are transcendent. A pro bowl caliber TE is so much more valuable. They make everyone better. That’s why I’m all in on Hunter.

Strongly disagree, **** that......get a ****ing top tier WR and stop bull****ting.
The draft has been incredibly strong at the wr position the last few years. I’m fine going to the well again. QB is the most important decision, and then MLB. -
This idea that we need a top tier wr out of FA is misguided. It’d be nice. But we have no qb. I’d focus on Hunter Henry, and then after him juju/golladay/fuller. If we don’t land any of them, save the money and go bargain shopping again.

If you have an elite DL, you don’t need to over spend on db’s.

If I had to choose, I like the idea of incentive based bonuses rather than guaranteed contracts ( nba).

For me I want them to take whichever player they love most -- whether its N. Harris, Z. Collins, Darrisaw, Koramoah, Bateman or name that surprise faller.
I am not sold on Wilson. He's not hot against the run. But I do like Brown and Wright a lot. Morrow intrigues me as for WLB.
Koramoah is a hybrid backer that wont be able to play inside. I feel that LC can play that hybrid role if he returns from injury. I’m more interested in Z Collins because he has fantastic size, and enough athletic ability to cover the middle. Is he a sideline to sideline demon like D White? No. But if he were, he’d be a top 10 prospect.
I don’t have the faith you all have in KJ. He’s played with a HOF his entire career. And that guy hasn’t slowed down yet.

I've pushed for Zaven Collins on the draft thread among others. Yet, I am with Rivera's mindset as he expressed in his press conference, he hates being boxed in to take a position in the draft. If we have to take Zaven Collins in the draft because we have a gaping hole at that spot for me its yuck as much as I like the player. I want flexibility.
Theres flexibility, and then there’s a big time starter contract. We went with flexible contracts and vets last year. If you sign Milano to the type of deal he just signed with Buffalo, he’s your guy. I feel confident that we will have a quality tackle prospect like Dillashaw or lb like Collins available at 19. I’d be happy with either.57 minutes ago, Skinsinparadise said:- 1

Meh.. I’d rather take a shot on Zaven Collins rather than spend money on a linebacker in free agency anyways.

Thomas Davis was a complete waste of a roster spot. That’s not a good example

Hunter Henry or Jonnu Smith are no brainer FA targets. You can never have too many quality TE’s on your roster. We had literally one guy at the position last year. I’d jump at signing either, possibly drafting a guy in the 2nd/3rd, and hope for some progression from Gandy Golden.
Absolute pass on KJ Wright.

Tua broke his hip in half is what happened.

I can’t drink to this...
Years back I spent an easy 200 for a pair of cave of chaos seats, staring Tim Hasselbeck who put up a goose egg in freezing rain. I was too full of fury to drink or even boo that team. We are far past that with the zards.

I saw a coworker rocking an old bullets sweater today, and felt my blood pressure go up. I just want to watch my terrible basketball franchise with pride! Can we relegate the Wizards snd just start over yet?

Wilson ain’t going nowhere. He’s just leveraging against Schneider. And I’ve always liked him, but he’s had an awful past few years building that team. DK being his only real hit.

There is no options out there that are better than running Allen / Heinikie and seeing if you can sneak up in the draft. Lets review:
So, HOLD with those DIAMOND HANDS or put together a mini package to get into Wilson on a rookie deal
This is the first I’ve mostly agreed with you on this board. Stay put, keep the picks, and let the off-season come to you. I’m not all in on Wilson, as I don’t think his personality would work here. But I’m all for keeping our picks and following the scouting reports we’ve made.

All the metrics say he is this year. If most on this board are saying Stafford is (spending the last 2 weeks saying so), then we should hold them to the same standard. Carr is going to net a 1st round pick whether anyone on here likes it or not. WFT might not land him, but someone is going to give up a 1st for him.
Metrics don’t mean much. If they did, Cousins would be top 10. Teams give up a first for a guy like Carr 4 games into the season when their starter goes down and they are contenders. No one is that desperate right now. -

He's a borderline top 10 Qb and he's coming off a really good year. He's worth at least a 1st rounder, but QB's being so expensive my gut tells me some stupid team is going give up two firsts.
No he most certainly is not. No one will give up a first let alone two. -
That is desperation talking. Two firsts for carr. He’s worth a 3rd and no more than that.

He was out most of the season and Alex was an awful qb. Inspirational, but awful. He gets a pass.
