When is the press conference?? Tomorrow? They won't want to have it next week leading up to the SB I wouldn't think. -
Exactly. He just wasn't at the top of the list the fan base put together.... lol Yesterday many fans were upset that Adam Peters wasn't freaking out at the senior bowl and dared smile. lol. The decision was likely made a couple days ago and they've been working out the details. Some how Peters was a GOD and the most amazing hire ever two weeks ago but some how he (and ownership) are now idiots for hiring they guy they deemed the best fit.

This owner kept RON for a full year... no way Quinn is fired middle of the season if at all.

A lot of talk how Quinn was the 3rd or 4th choice. Im not buying that. Peters and Harris said in their PC that they wanted a "leader" first and foremost. Not sure they saw that with Johnson or Macdonald. Sheehan is saying that a formal offer was never offered to Johnson or Macdonald. Was Quinn #1 in their view when they started? Probably not but I doubt Quinn was down the list very far. They got who they wanted after the process.

Well it might not be a metric that means much but Id much rather his players love their coach than hate him which we've had plenty of around here.

Welcome abord Dan Quinn... Lets go! Trusting that Peters and this ownership knows what they are doing. Quinn is certainly qualified. Seems to be loved by his players. Just hoping he brings some innovation and a GREAT OC.

I’d be worried if this so called stud GM. Best new young GM in the league was running around chewing his nails and freaking out but that’s just me. I prefer the idea that he knows a hell of a lot more than I do and he ain’t worried.

he is part of the decision. It’s why I think there is a lot more going on that we don’t know about. He is laughing it up because he isn’t freaking out like the fan base is.

A strong draft is equally as important. I just wonder if there is something behind the scenes with either KC or 49ers. More likely SF. Perhaps someone on the SF staff is interested but wants to keep things quiet as all his attention needs to be on the playoffs and now SB. Virtual interviews aren’t automatically reported right? Isn’t it possible that they have talked to someone that hasn’t been reported? I know it’s just a random thought and probably wrong.

They might love him. They might have offered him the job. Perhaps Quinn wants $10+ mil /yr. and a 6 year contract and they don't want to give him that.. yet. It could be that this ownership group doesn't want to give what these coaches are wanting and getting from other teams. That would explain a lot.

So what’s the plan? Wait and let the Seahawks make their choice and then take more time to decide? Come on let’s get the show on the road. They have talked to the candidates. Make a decision and offer the job to the top choice.

There have been coaches interviewed that we don’t know about? guess it’s possible but that would really be a stealthy surprise. Seems like any interviews are usually known.

A surprise as in a total new candidate that hasn’t been interviewed yet? That would be a surprise and also a sign that they without a doubt assumed they were hiring BJ. At this point there are what 5 possible coaches in that we’ve talked to? I’d assume it will be one of those. Quinn or possibly Macdonald have to be the favorites. Need to get it done soon.
