Round 2 basketball and team is in it - next year need to work on the post Nene-plan... am I being greedy expecting to be fighting in the playoffs for years to come?
Post Nene Plan: Sign Kevin Durant to absurd deal.

Why is Kris Humphries on the bench? I mean, I don't think he's the end all be all, but when Nene is that bad, Humphries should be an option.

With sprained ankles and wrists, why question a gift?
Okay that's great, but this seems like terrible logic.

So, the Wiz will play Game 2 on Tuesday and then don't play Game 3 until Saturday!? Why the long wait!?!?

Please tell me he's doing a Vladi Divac impression

John, knock that off, and go sit down. Last thing they need is you slipping and hurting yourself while celebrating.

If we jump out to a double digit lead early, theyll fold up shop and we can cruise.
This team cannot, under any circumstance, cruise.

Does the game legit start at 6:30 or later?

So the guy in the OP who fell off the horse and got the **** beat out of him by a gang of sheriff's deputies is about to get paid. Francis Jared Pusok has reached a settlement with San Bernardino County to pay him $650,000.

Just turned on the game. Wow.

Everything these days is going darker and grittier, and it's getting old.
True. BSG pulled it off well. I still feel like DS9 and Enterprise were made in the wrong decades.
-
Despite featuring Walter Koenig, it didn't feel very Star Trek to me.
Indeed. It seems that fan films want to go very dark. Very conspiracy theory ish. Sign of the times?

And by fired, you mean replaced.

I like the idea of going forwarded really far and kind of dusting off the "Enterprise" idea after a few centuries. I kind of don't want it on CBS though. I'd prefer a AMC or HBO to have it. So, they can get a little darker. Do the same style of a lot of great series where a season is around a dozen episodes that are about 60-90 min long. There is an main storyline that covers the whole series. But each season is focused on a specific "something". Like the Wire or GoT or Justified.
Or SciFi

Rumor is CBS wants ST back on TV. Apparently they've noticed Anaxar

If they look anything like they did in Into Darkness, I'd rather go without Klingons.
I liked it. Frankly, I think the Klingons should be portrayed more as tribes than an established society
The real Star Trek is still the best... next gen had a few limited moments but DS9 was pretty great. Had a plethora of great dark characters that outshined the do-goody mannequin bores in Next Gen and Voyager. They finally had the balls to have all out wars and the serial story telling was terrific.
The original is still the best but ds9 was a close second imo.
DS9 had the best cast. I feel like it was made at the wrong time. Enterprise would have been better off at that point. DS 9 would have been better off now. A little darker, more in touch with social issues, and the prospect of war. Always felt that DS9 took the happy ending route out, probably due to Roddenberry's influence.

Oh it's sprained. Yep, xrayed it twice.
Two days later: Five fractures.
Looks like the Wiz and the Nationals have the same trainers.
